Used 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab Consumer Reviews
Fast truck
This truck is quick, and very dependable. Gas mileage wasnt too bad, travels mountain roads like a dream, worst thing is the headlights are a bit bright and drivers ahead of you at night get irritated thinking your high beams are on.
Awful Electrical System
I have a regular work truck a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.3 liter. Less thats in it, less to go wrong with it, right??? Well not the case with this vehicle!!! The trailer plug is prone to corrosion, even if you don’t use it. The reverse lights stay on constantly & will not turn off. Which I found out is a common problem. The fuse box under the hood are crap. Should not have such issues with only 55,000 miles on the vehicle. I had a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a 5.7 liter for 20 yrs & only had the brake lights go out after 15 yrs of owning it. Do not buy a GMC nor Chevrolet truck. The electrical wiring & harness are worn out already. Not made like they used to be.
