I've driven Fords since 1978 (EXP) - driving both cars (T'birds mostly) and SUVs (Explorer, Flex & Expeditions). The Taurus is a 4-door Thunderbird - love the way it handles and quick response to the pedal. I thought I would miss the Flex but I have just as much room and storage area (trunk is huge) in the Taurus. Ford Sync 3 is a big improvement over 1 and 2. Really enjoy driving it.

I purchased my 2016 Taurus SEL in May of 2017 to replace a string of three Buicks that I owned previously. To my surprise, my Taurus rides just as well, is as quiet, and is more comfortable and gets better gas mileage than my Buicks. I did not buy it for performance, but the engine and transmission are more than adequate. Because it is a sedan, and was over a year old when I bought it, I got a GREAT purchase price, and now, six months later, have absolutely no buyer's remorse for purchasing the 2016 Ford Taurus. Great job, Ford!

SHO with the Performance package is real "sleeper" with all the amenities. Quiet, heavy and quick! I like the leather seats with the suede inset. Its cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The heated and cooled seats are just an added bonus. The SHO is roomy and has a spacious trunk and with the fold-down back seat you have some real depth for longer items, like skis! I don't have a lot of ordinary folks asking about this beauty but the Police and Hi-Way Patrol know what it is. 140 mph is no problem for this beast!
