Used 1999 Ford F-150 Regular Cab Consumer Reviews
never stuck
I have had my truck for 2 years now, & am still very pleased with it.I use it to pull trailers weighing from 1500- 8000lbs. The 4.6 with a 5-speed is'nt the most powerful engine on the block, but it does okay, even when the truck is grossly overloaded. This truck is the best truck ever in the mud, with 32" mud tires it is almost unstoppable.
Pretty fair truck
I love the looks I get in this truck. I only wish the performance was as awesome. Its not bad, but not as good as I thought it would be knowing Fords record for performance.

IT WAS FREE...at first
The previous owner had graduated from medical, bought himself an Infinity and left his high school truck sitting on the street outside his house....for two years. My Nissan was rear ended by a drunk and his insurance didn’t pay enough to replace it. The young doctor heard of my delema and gave me his truck. Unfortunately, he had parked it with a full tank of gas. The fuel pump had to be replaced along with all the belts and a/c gas. After about $2000, I had me a truck.

better than expected
although I have owned two chevrolets and one nissan p/u, I have always preferred driving cars, especially sport sedans. The F-150 has changed my view on trucks.
Shays Truck
I truly love my truck but the only thing I can think of is my upper and lower control arms are starting to pop and I think that whould have been a issue that should been handled from the factory.
