Used 2004 Ford Explorer Consumer Reviews
Lemon
I purchased this vehicle as a work vehicle. It had minor problems until I hit 35,000 miles. It took Ford 3 tries to get a working rear end which lasted only another 30,000 miles. A number of idiot lights went bad, and now paint is peeling off the roof and the rear end is again making noise. This was my first and last Big 3 auto purchase.
My 3rd
We got the Estate green w/ Lght parchment. Looks like a 50K Vehicle. Love it, Love it love it..

2004 Explorer Eddie Bauer, not 2003
We just purchased our 2004 Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition, trading in our 1998 2dr Explorer Sport. We fine the ride a lot smoother, than the 98, and a lot quiter.
Fun To Have!
Great reliable vehicle. Has allot of room for children. The drive is a little bumpy at times and takes a little while to get use to.
Loved the First ONe-bought another
I had a 1994 Limited and had absolutely no problems with it....from the top of Pike's Peak to Death Valley and towing two horses through the snow....this car did it all. So why switch? Bought another.
