Ultimate best car I’ve ever owned

It has everything I always wanted in a car. I am car SAVI and the obstacles have been elementary. Not a car for the Novice.

BMW's V8 engines are absolute garbage!

Anyone considering one of these cars better do their due diligence on the design flaws with the V8, otherwise you will be in for a terrible ownership experience. This engine is complete garbage and i'm shocked and appalled that a car that cost so much can be so poorly designed and terribly made. I will never buy another BMW ever again. Buyer beware!

Too Heavy!

Excellent interior details and power. But it is too heavy feeling it at cornering and any street hole punch the tires.

The 2012 BMW 650i is UNSAFE to drive in a thunderstorm.

The 2012 BMW 650i is UNSAFE to drive in a thunderstorm. I was driving North on Interstate 95 in the left lane at approximately 70 mph when I observed lightning strike about 200 feet ahead of me and to the right of the road. Almost all electrical functionality ceased operation immediately, including the engine and the power steering. Dozens of cars closer to the lightning than me were unaffected. The car has been in the BMW repair shop since July 22, 2011 (53 days and counting). Lightning did NOT strike the car. I observed and heard only one flash and thunderclap. The cloth convertible top is in pristine condition.

Rolled it off the showroom floor

Bought this one new and it just rolled over 99k on the odometer..Car has been zero problems and has held it's look even after a dozen years... Just a really nice car to drive with uber adjustable seats.. I got the M package with it and winter wheels/tires.. I drive it year round but it lives in a heated garage.
