The Armada is simply the best full
size SUV on the market right now. You
just cant beat the options you get for
the price. I looked at all of the
competition ie: Expedition, Yukon,
Denali, Tahoe and it simply wasnt
close as far as price and performance
for an SE 4X4 w/ tow package, built 05-
04 and only 9 days in the lot for
$34095.00 out the door (yes incl. tax,
tax and title) would I take it, yes. I
can get use to some issues but
definetely can't deal w/ paying
$3000.00 on my trade-in and $1000.00
above invoice + tax, tags & title on a
competing manufacturer (I went to all
dealership w/ this manufaturer on
where I am and just can't get the deal
I want cause I got use to paying
invoice). can't also deal w/ driving a
full size SUV w/ underpower engine.
standard ABS, VSC, self leveling
suspension, 18" tire, tire pressure
sensor, rear backup sonar, adjustable
pedals, 5 speed, heated side mirrors,
6 disc audio, too many standard
features and of course, the 0-60 at
around 7.3 secs.
We have had some minor problems such
as ripped trim and unbalanced tires.
but on the whole we love it. would
not recommend as a daily driver or
commuter as it guzzles gas. so much
is standard that all we added to the
base se was 4X4, bose, and dvd player.
would have liked to have a sunroof at
that trim level.
the controls do seem a little counter
intuitive, but nothing major.
Owned 8 months. 8K miles, 2nd set of
brake pads, rotors resurfaced twice.
Sunroof rattles, interior shaking. AC
vents in front not adjustable.
Constant pinging sound in engine at
low speed, dealer cannot find problem.
Appears all Nissan's investment was
made on exterior. Not a $40K vehicle.
