Used 2005 Volvo XC90 Consumer Reviews
Not as fun as my X-5 but not bad
For the value, the vehicle is great. More than enough interior room to sit comfortably. Sluggish off the line but once you are up to speed, keeps up very easily with traffic. My biggest issue with the XC-90 are the blind spots on both the drivers and passenger side. Even with a quick turn of the head to look for traffic next to you, you do not always see it.

Solid as a rock. Drives great in all conditions especially high wind. Comfortable seats and doesn't wear you out on long trips.

Test Drive the Comp
I have owned Ford and Chevy SUV's and numerous other cars. Clearly this car is vastly superior in all respects. In my experience, many of these critical points presented are not true. The Turbo makes almost no noise. The air conditioning fans have multiple modes of operation and is very quiet. The stereo is totally simple....Just read the owners maunal please. wo piece back which gives comfortable seating at tailgaters and such and it is very easy to load large objects into back. The third seat is a wonder verses the competition and I regularly use thrid seat for kids/kids friends
Luxury and Practical
Love my volvo, i get great compliments on the looks at the same time i packed it to the rim and used it to move into my new home. It comfortable and fun, from dressing up for a nice dinner to heading out to the beach with your surfboard on the roof rack, I LOVE IT!!
Volvo XC90
I just purchased this vehicle. My first feeling was that the car was neither as luxurious or as smooth a ride as it should be for a "luxury SUV." It is hard to work the third row seat when attempting to lay them down. Also it is extremely difficult to see behind on either side because of the headrests, front and back. The car has many blind spots which make for uncomfortable backing up. As the "safest" vehicle on the road they should have given you better visibility. Finally, though, the true value of the vehicle showed when I hit a large pool of water and did not skid or move from side to side. There is nothing like sitting in the front seat at 65 mph and feeling that sense of safety.
