Used 2004 Volvo S60 R Consumer Reviews
A fun Volvo?
I sold my BMW 328ci looking for a European car that was faster than my Bimmer and found most to be too expensive. Then I found the R. It serves the purpose perfectly. The six-speed manual is a must have. 300 horses, a six-speed, and a suspension that you can dial in with legendary Volvo safety? What more could you ask.
What a fun car.
I had been drooling over the S60/V70R for a couple of years, and finally had the means to buy one. I could not be happier with the vehicle. It is fun to drive, and the performance is great.
Sweet Swede
Great ride for the money. Quality and workmanship are excellent. Volvo really looks out for the purchaser.
Excellent Alternative
If you want to consider a viable alternative to the BMW or Audi, you should look at the Volvo S60R. It is extremely quick, comfortable and well constructed. Its price point is better than its competitors. Overall, there is significant value in this car. There have been no problems or defects noted since we picked the car up in May.
S60R Delivers!
The car has been a delight to drive. The handling is excellent, acceleration and torque are as advertised. Brakes offer amazingly short stopping distance. The interior is great, especially the really soft leather (I have the navy blue and I would highly recommend that color)and the seats are the typical Volvo--very comfortable. This car combines sportiness with practicality quite well.
