2019 Mitsubishi Outlander
This is a solid car! I bought a used 2019 SEL, paid $1,500 less than comparable models from other companies with the same features.
First off, you cannot beat the value this car provides. Leather seats, blind spot monitor, android auto, heated seats, auto wipers, rear cross traffic, fog lights, S-AWC, etc. all wrapped up in a stylish package. The Gray Metallic looks amazing along with … the 18 inch wheels. I get comments of how nice it is, inside and out.
I have found it drives well. The improvements made for the 2019 model inspire a lot of confidence on highways and back roads. The CVT is bearable, I really don't mind it at all. I'm not a NASCAR driver and am fairly defensive and the 4 Cyl suits my needs.
The S-AWC (Mitsubishi's AWD system) is EXCELLENT in the snow. Took this out in 6 inches of unplowed snow and it had no issues getting through it. One of the best AWD systems I have used hands down.
Gas Mileage has been accurate, averaging about 30 MPG on the highway.
My advice: If you are looking for a used SUV with AWD/4WD, look into the 2019 Outlander.
I am baffled by the critics reviews of it. I test drove the Ford Escape, Nissan Rogue, Mazda CX5, and Subaru Forester. I found the Outlander to be very competitive in terms of the driving dynamics and abilities; again for far less than even the lowest priced of the other 5!
Read through the consumer reviews of the Outlander and test drive one for yourself. You may end up liking it just as much or more than the competition while also saving some money. I do not feel like I compromised on anything.
