Comfort, speed, sound!

2012 Toyota Venza XLE 4dr Wagon (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
Drove a Camry XLE V6.
Adored that car, never had a problem, averaged 15K yearly, got better than EPA fuel economy.
Considered new Camry when I bought car in March 12, but test drive of Venza XLE V6 changed my mind.
Incredible seat comfort, versatile storage, stylish interior, and magnificent stereo.
Also exceeds EPA rating for fuel economy, just like my reliable Camry did.
Not a jiggle … or squeak in the body.
Traction and stability control make this car perform faultlessly in pouring rain and on slick streets.
Braking also excellent.

2012 Toyota Venza XLE 4dr Wagon (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
We purchased used 2012 in 2014. I knew I loved the look but didnt realize I would fall in love with everything about the Venza. We have driven this car from NC out west 7 times and up and down the east coast literally too many times to count. We obviously love to travel and this car has never failed us. It has over 183,000 now and I'm just as happy today as the day I got it. It is … not AWD but never had an issue in any snow storms we encountered out west and along upper mid west states. If I could go back in time I would do it all over again. UPDATE. 3-24 my venza now has 229,000 and is still the best car I have owned and yes I would do it over again. I get people compliment the look today and it 14 years old
Noisy and rough ride!

2012 Toyota Venza XLE 4dr Wagon (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
The 20" wheels/tires are a terrible choice. They are noisy and the vehicle has a very rough ride. The back seat passengers always complain about how loud it is going down the highway. I changed tire brands from the OEM Goodyear to Michelin and it helped a little but not much. Blind spots are terrible! Have to be VERY careful about changing lanes. Larger mirrors might help. Other … than that, over the last 50,000 miles, no issues mechanically. The auto dimming headlights appeared to be a good touch, but they are very annoying. If traffic is light, they work okay, but if traffic is medium in nature (as in the case in West Texas) they either dim and immediately go back to bright then a couple of seconds later they dim for the oncoming car or they don't dim until the other car blinks their lights. I generally turn the feature off when I'm driving at night. Black carpets and mats are not a good choice either (just personal preference). Wife likes the car...glad she does...I don't like it...but I drive a 3/4 ton diesel, so my opinion is somewhat skewed.
