Used 2004 Toyota Matrix Consumer Reviews
xrs
the matrix xrs is a wonderful wagon. it is affordable has lots of headroom and sporty. i am 6'2" and space was an issue but not with the matix. i spent 19000 plus tax. the engine in the matrix xrs has plenty of horses to pass on freeways and accelerate on the shortest on ramps. the matrix is a great little wagon
Matrix is great!
We purchased the Matrix as our third car but drive it every day. It handles well, is extremely comfortable, and uses interior space very efficiently.

Love it
I love this car. My girlfriend and I looked at everything from the Jeep Grand Cherokee to the VW jetta TDI and we settled on the matrix because it is the perfect blend of fun, function, and value!
Fun but no sports car
Very good utilitarian little car. Plenty of room to haul things, lots of cool features like the outlet on the dashboard, the plastic in the cargo area, etc. Good on gas and as it's a Toyota I expect it to be very reliable. But I was slightly disappointed in how it handles (is a bit mushy when cornering) and it is slightly underpowered and could use more "snap". Overall I'm happy with it, but if they could've made the engine and suspension perform like my old Acura Integra (sold at 12 years old to get this one) but ketp the amount of room of the Matrix I'd be in 7th heaven.
excellent
good wonderful love it the bet car out on the market now
