Beautiful car

This car is easy to drive and a pleasure to drive. The engine is solid and has plenty of power when you need it like getting on the interstate or passing a car. Lots of safety features which is a plus. The biggest Negative to me is I owned an earlier Highlander and the back window opened now you have to open the hatch all the way to access the rear. I would think the third row is not meant for adults to be comfortable . Over all this car fits my needs perfectly decent MPG great cargo space and a fun car to drive. Toyota reliability is always a huge plus.

Upgraded from a Camry. This rides very smooth, sporty, leather interior. Captain chairs, split seating to get to 3rd row. Nice wheels, sunroof. Perfect midsize SUV.

Fun to drive!

Just purchased a new 2021 Highlander. I was going from a van to an SUV and what a difference! It handles and rides so smoothly! I really like it. I got the XLE as I thought the step above had too much ‘added on’ from the ‘tech’ perspective ... too much for me to figure out. Just wanted a nice luxurious ride.... which I got.

Love the redesign

We owned a 2019 Highlander and loved it. Unfortunately someone ran into it and totaled it. We just took possession if our 2021 Highlander and all I can say is, wow! The new design is beautiful inside and out. The dash is designed with convenience in mind and the body style is just wider and longer enough to make it feel more airy and comfortable. I like a place where I can place my phone and has compartments to place items that I need to easily get to. This car has that. Also, this model has an app for remote start from your smart phone, mileage tracking and so much more. Everything about this car is well thought out. While we certainly didn’t plan on getting another car, we are glad we bought another Highlander. It’s beautiful inside and out!

Side view mirror plastic cover for wire harness

The plastic cover came off somewhere. To replace the entire mirror needs to be replaced for $500 on a 10 dollar part. At dealer we were able to pop off on a car in showroom with barely touching it. Poor design and expensive to fix. Waiting for the other side to also come off as it also is not secured well. Toyota has agreed to replace under warranty. However this plastic piece should be available for a standalone purchase/ replacement
