03 Corolla LE disappointment

I know this car is well built but I am a little disappointed. Choice of hp would of been nice; I thought 130hp was enough but I wish I had more. I think the braking needs improvement; after getting the car home I noticed it has drum brakes in the rear ABS in the front. Rear disc brakes would be alot better. I still don't see the rear heat ducts.Maybe in time I will get use to it; if not I know I will still go for another Toyota (known for quality) like a Celica or a Camry.

A mini Camry. Not a whole lot of power but on the highway can scoot. A higher (seat position)and smoother ride than older Corollas.(Used to feel just about every pebble and crack)But not with car. A solidly built car that is gas conscious. I can park just about anywhere.Fun to drive.I LOVE this car.

I have had a good 7 months with my Toyota. The only problem I have had is bird droppings on the red paint has left dark spots. I have washed it many times and as of yet have not been able to get rid of the stains.

I have very little if any complaints about my corolla. The ride is very smooth, and the design i far more improved over the previous corollas. The only issue that I have is that the engine is not the quietest in the world, and the gas mileage on the auto. version is nowhere near their alleged 38mpg. Other than this the car is wonderful and I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

We bought a 2003 silver LE with side airbags and anti-lock brakes in June 2002 direct from factory after waiting ~6-weeks. We paid about ~$17500 including everything. We had compared it to the Civic but the Corolla is much better. It has a smoother ride and much less wind/engine noise inside. After driving for ~ 4500 miles now we constantly get between 37 - 42 mile/gallon fuel economy which is great! Pick-up is just fine and does not cause any problems. At first I wasnt too impressed with the exterior styling but I have gotten used to it.
