Great Car

We got this car based on the reputation, gas MPG and based on the looks!! rep of Corollas is outstanding and it looked so much better than any other small car out there at the time. This car has held up to it's rep of being a GREAT reliable car!!! This car looks good and drives well and gets even better gas mpg with the manual tranny that we chose. We average with city/hwy as we always drive both during the week anywhere from 29 to 37 depending on how fast we drive that week! The AC is always on since we do live in Texas. HIGHLY recommend this car!!!!

I have only had my new car less than a week, but I love it! It rides great,it is very roomy inside, easy access to all the controls. I love the sun roof and the alloy wheels make it look spectacular. I was torn between the corolla and the civic until I drove the new corolla. The civic was too small inside,i felt cramped when I was behind the wheel. Not that you will be sitting there often, but the back seat is so roomy, even for a man with long legs. I also like all the little compartments for your CD's or whatever. you also get two AC adapters. I would highly recommend this car.

Awesome

I bought the car new in 2002 and now have 98,000 miles on it. It required front brake pads due to squealing brakes at 25,000 miles and was done free. Have performed routine maintenance - battery 60,000 miles, tires 60,000 miles, brakes 85,000 miles. After the brakes at 85,000 there was a persistent squeal and the car needed 2 more trips back to the dealer. Was given a free loaner car for the 2 returns and it was handled very professionally. Other than that I routinely get 34-35 mpg with about 65% highway driving. The car is actually fun to drive and I am always the first "out of the blocks". Minimal road noise at cruising speed and very smooth highway manners.

I have owned my 2003 Corolla LE since it was brand new. It has been amazing car since day, today with 135k miles. I grew up with a 1992 Corolla that my mom owned and loved until the rust ate through it.

I recently bought this car. I've already had to replace the timing chain and catalytic converter. This car does have great gas mileage, 30 miles per gallon. It has comfy seats and is higher off the ground than other sedans of this era. However the paint is peeling off and the engine is horrible. If you want a commuter car that gets good gas mileage and don't mind having repairs this is the car for you.
