Thought It Was Good
Bought this Camry from original owner- Had around 85000 miles on it--after 98000 miles everything went wrong--I religiously changed my oil and fluids. First to go wrong were all of the window motors--each cost around 250- 300 to fix. Next, antenna and stereo went out--costs were around 200-250. Finally, the transmission went out-- had to change front and rear end seals, driver brake hoes busted, and shocks went out--don't want to think about how much expensive it was. I still have it b/c can't afford anything else. I was surprised to see the downward trend after 98000 miles from a Camry.
the best car besides a supra
This is my first car and i am excited i have researched and found out i can turm my moms old family car into a storty sadan. I am only 14 but i have a crazy admeration for toyota because of how well they performe and the outstanding miles i will put on it. I have already started paying it off and putting money into it to make it nicer than it is. i have big plans for it and i know that it is a reliable car and a very good first. My goal is someday to have a Supra twin turbo V6 becoause it has broken all the rules for a car its perfect and its Toyota.

GOOD CAR POOR WORKMANSHIP
I bought the car new in 1994 and while it was under warranty three power windows broke and oxidation on the side mirrors (paint) were replaced.I also replaced all four GOODYEAR tires before 30000 miles due to 'cracks' in tires that could not be fixed. Also had two handles that broke off on the inside. After the warranty was up two more windows dropped at a cost of 313.00 each.
Excellent
It was my first car and I have no second thoughts. Very reliable, always ready to go. Very peppy acceleration for a family car. The car handle well and looks great. Excellent car for anyone really. Fuel economy is not that bad for a V6.
Toyota XLE V6
My Toyota has been one dependable car. It has never left me stranded, though I have done oil changes and maintenance, incl. belt changes, regularly. I feel its quality from the factory is obvious in its feel and confidence the car engenders. It has treated my family well.
