Used 2010 Toyota 4Runner Consumer Reviews
SR5 with third row seating
So far the only issue is a little steering wheel wobble at 60 MPH. Possible wheel alignment issue. Everything else about the SR5 is fantastic. Love the fact that rear window rolls down and all other windows including the ones in back seat go all the way down. Great in snow and seat comfort is great. The little moon light that illuminates the front gearshift area is a great feature.Reclining rear seats and satellite radio, as well as blue tooth phone are some of my favorite features. In metallic gray the chrome really stands out. Third seat is preferred over the goofy roll out tray. Who ever came up with that feature should be shot. Overall very pleased with the purchase!
almost perfect
New model is refined and roomy. 4 litre engine puts out V-8 power with V- 6 econony. Excellent towing - ignore the new rating - this SUV will tow 7,000 pounds with ease. Very useful sliding cargo floor, and backup warning device is a welcome feature. Only gripe is the silver painted plastic interior trim parts that easily scratch and cannot be easily fixed. Flawless build quality - typical Toyota. This SUV is in a class by itself. It doesn't pretend to be a crossover - it is a REAL full framed rear-wheel drive heavy duty SUV. It is like having a 7/8 scale Tahoe with a big V6 motor.

Decent
Purchased two weeks ago and so far a fine truck. Moderately powerful V6 (a V8 would be a nice option). Performs better with premium. New generation is a step up from last in size and space. Smooth and reasonably comfortable for a $40K SUV. Good ground clearance and capable with some minor off roading I did. Handles nicely too while suspension is quite compliant. Exterior design OK.
4 Runner Loves the Colorado Mountains
I love that it is wider for more interior room. I have two kids car seats in the back & another person can easily fit between them. Really wanted the 3rd row. The ground clearance is nice for us who like to actually off road a bit. The NAVI & blue tooth work perfect with my iPhone. It took 30 seconds to get the phone connected to the system. Stereo sounds great. Seat warmers have come in handy too. I drove through 1' of untouched snow w/out ever thinking of locking down the 4W high. Driving up I-70 out of Denver was a dream with all power and the breaks have serious stopping power. I do have the Limited w/22" wheels so maybe the brakes are larger?
love it
Have had the SR5 for two days. Love it! Fabulous ride. Put 300 miles on it. I got the black exterior with black interior cloth seats and it's gorgeous. Excellent visibility-great windows with minimal obstruction. Very happy with noise control.
