Used 2005 Toyota 4Runner Consumer Reviews
Typical Toyota
This car is a typical Toyota, built rock solid with excellent reliability. I drive through out So Cal and this car is very comfortable on long commutes. I am 6-0 tall and have plenty of leg and head room. The ride is excellent. Very smooth on the road and around town. Gas mileage exceeds specs. I get 24+ (rated at 22 mpg) on the highway. I also find the optional 3rd row seat a very useful addition. I am very happy with this SUV.
Great Buy
I was bugging my husband for a new 'TRUCK'. We went to the dealership - looked at what they had in stock and was told that there was a shipment coming in the following day. He returned to the dealership and brought home my new toy - I LOVE IT!

4 Runner superiority
This is my second 4 runner in 2 1/2 years, abefore I had 3 pathfinders and before that Jeeps. None come any where near the performance and integrity of the is vehicle. It ride is as good as a Camry and it is as tough as a Tundra truck. I have over 75K miles between my 2003 and 2005 and not one problem.
Simply The Best
This is my 3rd 4-Runner and the best so far. Smooth ride, power to tow my boat, very roomy and comfortable ( I am 6'5" tall). I would not drive anything else!!
sr5 4wd 8-cyl
Bought it in Mar 05. My first Toyota experience. Have been a Nissan Customer for the last fifteen years but the problems with the 05 Pathfinder sent me in the direction of the 4-runner.Was equiped with a few things I did'nt really need, but the price was right and finding a runner with a third row seat was very difficult. Overall am very satisfied with my 4-runner. The head room for the third row seat is definitely for kids only unless you are 5 foot or under as an adult. Seems to be soom wind noise at speeds above 45 mph and it appears to be from the outside mirrors. Would I buy another 4- runner? At this point I would, most definitely.
