Zero Remorse Factor

Very satisfied after 500 mi in-town, 500 mi highway. All expectations met or exceeded. Get 18+ mpg city; 25 hwy. My previous car was a 91 Acura Legend Coupe and yet I don't feel any let down in handling, acceleration, comfort or quality. The '05 is MUCH nicer than the small-truckish 96-02 body style in ride, comfort, room, performance, and quality of materials. Handles all types of small and large bumps and potholes with a muted, rounded little THuB-THuP. None of the old porpoising after a high- speed bump. No XREAS (SR5) but don't regret it.

No regrets about buying this vehicle. I've had my 4 runner for almost a year now. The more I drive it, the more I love it. It runs, rides, and looks great. Gas mileage has been far better than I had anticipated. Great vehicle overall!

I like to keep my cars the life of the warranty or the years I buy whichever comes first. This car is a jewel and I love driving it. Compares well with my sister's Lexus SUV for performance. Wasn't cheap, I bought everything I could to enhance my enjoyment but I'm using the frills and loving my ride and the perks. This is a car that will way outlast my warranty and the years ...

I use an SUV for commuting, utility trailers and boat trailers. I also expect to help the local crew coach tow a 7000lb GVW shell trailer that can carry 6-8 boats at once. I had a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder that was underpowered for the job. It had a stiff ride that I liked but my family would not ride with me. This car rides great and has many standard features that you need but that you don't think to look for.

Our other 4Runner is a '98, which has had only one problem in 6 years! It rides rough, but is great overall. When we test drove the 05', there was no comparison at all. It is super smooth on the road, absolutely no body sway, and has allot more pickup, with a few more mpg! Anyone considering a mid-size SUV should test drive one before making a decision, it's worth the time. Also, you get quite a bit more for your money now than in 09. Traction control, Vehicle stability control, both standard on all 4Runners.
