Nissan Titan Crew Cab
Solid truck that is smooth, handles well, drives well. Power is outstanding. A real stud to tow with. 5 speed transmission a real plus for towing and all around driving. Pulls my enclosed race car trailer in od and cruise. Chevy and Ford won't do it. Comfortable seat(captains chair). Got a great price. Only negative is fuel mileage in the mid teens.
Great Truck, Woudn't Trade It For Anything.
I brought this truck new with about 59 miles at the time, after comparing with other Make and Models in its class and I have to say it was a great choice. Ive decided to hold off until I had put a good amount of miles on this vehicle before writing this review and as of now I have 78,000 miles on this vehicle and more to come. Im 62 and my girlfriend about 511 for us tall people space is everything, and Nissan got it right interior design is extremely spacious lots of compartments both overhead and on the side doors to include the back seat great compliments.

High Maint Cost with subpar parts
Annoyances: Goodyear SRA tires were toast after 15k miles. Air conditioner compressor stays on until the ignition is turned off. Over-all climate control not good. Brakes are under sized and rotors need replacing often. At 61 K miles drivers side axle seal started leaking. At 70 K miles Passenger side started leaking. Reported to NTSB per Titanclub Website. Called 800-Nissan and their customer service was terrible and wouldn't lift a finger to help me even though many, many other people have the same problem. Now my drivers side seal is leaking again at 120 K miles.
Titan - Drive the BEST
This is the BEST vehicle I have ever owned. I can't complain about the fuel economy, because that's not why I purchased the Titan. In reality, it's not that bad considering the powerful engine. I'm getting the same fuel economy that I had with my 2001 Nissan Xterra, which was a V6, and the Titan is far superior.
Titan is the truck
I have a 2007 SE loaded... Power, Power, Power... A half ton that does the work of a three 1/4... 312 HP, plenty of torque and pulls like my 2001 Ford 350. Fuel mileage is not the best but hay it's a real truck. I like the old Fords but I think they are missing the boat. Wake up Ford "Please"
Incredible Truck
It's now 2015, and I have 150K miles on my Titan LE Crew Cab Offroad 4x4. My truck was finally killed this weekend by a rogue tow hitch that my wife struck while driving on the freeway. The thing went under the car and bounced up into the transmission. Busted a hole and destroyed the whole thing. May it rest in peace. However, until that rogue tow hitch, that truck did everything I ever asked of it with ease. Drove from So. Cal. to Montana more times than I can remember and it was an easy 20 hour drive in that Titan. I towed trailers, drove through snowstorms, up icy roads, loaded the bed up with wood and more. I never babied that truck, it never needed to be babied.
exhaust dangerous problem
If you are buying a 2007 Titan. Be SURE to go around to the right side of the truck where the tail pipe comes out under the fender, follow the tail pipe towards the muffler, INSPECT the first tail pipe clamp back from the muffler for security. This is the weekest part of the exhaust system, This clamp rusts and fails. When it does, the tail pipe will fall away leaving the muffler side tail pipe pointing directly straight up. If the truck is operated in this condition, the hot exhaust gasses will be directed onto the underside of the truck bed. The excess heat will melt and short out ALL wires going to tail lights ect of truck box. Since this review at 156000 miles the following has occured. Both front wheel bearings went out one at 160000 miles, and the other at163000, The rear end had to be totally rebuilt at 170000 cause the axle housing vent plugged and the wheel bearings and seals failed and metal particales from the bearing race contaninated the rear end oil and trashed the bearings at the pumpkin. and the left axle had to be replaced $2500 rebuild, Transmission, #4 band failed at 170020 and the transmission had to be replaced with an overhauled transmission to the tune of $3900. am no longer happy with my Nissan Titan, This company has lost a customer!

Titan power
Great truck to drive. Tons of power, even towing an airtstream coach. Great turning radius. Very comfortable on road trips. The attention to interior details are better than my dodge dakota.
poor choice
The day after I bought my Titan in August of 2006 it developed a rattle in the dashboard. I have had it back in two times but it still rattles. The second week the overhead console compartments would not close and had to have the console replaced. The original had a temp and compass function, the dealer replaced it with one that did not have these functions. Back to the dealer again for the right one. By the end of the first month the weather stripping on the rear sliding window began to come off as did the WS on the doors. Now the transmission is leaking copious amts of fluid in my driveway, front end rattles and shakes so badly cant drive it. Checking in to trade for a Ford.
Hit or Miss
'07 Extended Cab 4x4 OR package. First off the paint on these things is a little cheap looks like an orange peel and the clear coat scratches easy. Secondly these trucks are notorious for the rear end axle seal leaking...I had mine RR side worked on 3 TIMES!! before the dealership could get it right. This truck is also noisey and the tailgate sounds bad on bumps. Dont get me wrong I love this truck awesome power and looks great lifted. This truck takes well to mods and can really set you apart from the crowd if done in good taste. Hands down one of the best engine/drivetrains out there but the rear end issues need to be addressed...but overall I still think this is a great truck love it
Nissan Rules!
This is the 2nd Nissan Titan that I have owned, the other one being an 04 LE 2WD. Now I purchased an 07 LE 4WD ,they are by far the best trucks. I also own an 06 GMC Sierra 4wd and that is like a toy compared to the Titan. Rides like a Caddy and pulls like a 1 ton truck. Check this truck out before you make a decision on any other truck you will not be disappointed.
Love it!
It's a reliable durable vehicle that you feel safe in! For a woman it really makes me feel like a man! It seats my 3 kids comfortably (incl 2 car seats).
good truck.
Had this truck for almost two years now. I have no complaints. Though a little slow from a stop, it moves like hell once the rpm gets up a little. I added a cold air intake and replaced the muffler with a high flow. I have yet to see the poor fuel mileage that i was warned about from so many people. I get 19.3 on the hwy, 15.5 in town. Thats not treating it nice, either. Great towing, fun, very reliable.
Truck of Trucks
This is the best truck I have ever owned. Never a problem. 41000 so far with nothing more than tires and oil. Passing 2 mini-vans and a rig on a two lane road all at the same time is not a concern. I haul 2-3 dirtbikes all the time, love the utility bed. I have also towed a couple of 6000+ lb travel trailers with dirtbikes and firewood at 75 mph. This truck hauls with plenty of power. A little wide for off-roading(if you like your paint), but it will go almost anywhere. I rated fuel mileage high because this is a truck with power, it takes fuel to make 6000 lbs go 80 mph. Driving the Titan is very comfortable. The captains chairs feel like a Lazyboy. I have had 3 other Nissan trucks and a Z.
2007 Titan
I bought my truck brand new and have driven it for 10 years. It has really been a great truck. I've had only one issue, the tire pressure monitor system had a slight problem but that was just recently (10 years in). It's been a great, powerful workhorse that's never left me wishing I had more truck. I highly recommend the Nissan Titan.

Amazing work truck
This is my 3rd Titan. When I've finished with this one, I'll be on to my 4th Titan. This is an amazing pickup. Just go test drive one. It may not be for you, but I use my rig hard, and this truck keeps on truckin'. Great ride/suspension, SUPER throttle response, and it tows my 30' 8000lb trailer like it's towing a riding lawnmower. :) It is also a great family truck. Enjoy!
The Titan
I've kept an eye on the Titan since they came out in '04. Test drove all the trucks available and still decided on the Titan. Couldn't be happier with my decision. It's been one year and love it as much as the day I drove it off the lot. I take it on 400 mile non-stop trips and have no comfort issues. Even make it on a tank of gas as long as I stay below 75. At 75 or above, I have to fill up along the way. My wife loves to drive it as well.
TITAN IS KING
I love my Titan. Style looks great, performance is typical of great Nissan quality, and most of all the reliability is 2nd to none. I've owned 10 Nissan products and in between made the mistake of getting a Chevy and it only took 12 months to go back to the Nissan. My loaded LE Crew Cab is a dream. Plenty of room for my college age sons, my wife and I for short or long trips. Works for my weekend warrior project hauling and is also stylish enough to take on evenings out with the wife. I will never consider another truck!
Nice Design, Lots of Power
After looking at both Toyota and Nissan, I felt the Nissan had better features, especially the bed channel system---of which has proven to come in handy for securing cargo with the short bed. After 1500 miles, I'm very pleased with the quality and reliability to date and would definitely recommend this vehicle.
LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!!
This is my first truck, and I am so glad I bought the Titan. I drove every full size on the market before I bought this and I am glad I did. It has so much power it's almost insane! The exhaust sounds great, a Nice rumble. It is the most comfortable truck I rode in out of all the full size trucks. I got the truck for a steal too! If you are looking to buy a truck, you should really look at the Nissan Titan! Don't let all the bad press about the gas mileage control your decision. I drive it pretty conservatively and I am getting 19.2 mpg! The first time you drive, you will fall in love with this truck!
Great truck
Great truck especially for a suburbanite type. Design reflects thoughtful analysis of how a customer actually uses the truck. I compared with an F150 loaded up and the Titan LE definitely provided more features and at a lower price. I use the utilitrack and the exterior toolbox. Love the exhaust note! Nissan did a great job with the balance of power in the endurance v8 too. It also has a power rear window.
1st Time Nissan Titan Owner
My toy was a 2002 Ford F-350 7.3 Diesel, straight cab and long bed 4x4 Black and chrome, had it for 6 1/2 yrs. Had a chance to get this Nissan Titan Se KC 5.6 V/8 for a good price so I tried it. So far plenty of power to pull my 25' Travel trailer. A nice ride that my wife likes better than my Ford. I have owned a lot of Toyota trucks and all were awesome. Hoping this truck will be just as good or better.
Best Value Pickup
The Titan King Cab XE is powerful, quiet, handles very well and has attained surprisingly good gas mileage so far. On a road trip through the Oregon Cascade Mountain Range with A/C on all the time I achieved 21.4 MPG at speeds of 60 - 65 MPH. Couldn't be happier!
Great pickup
Love this truck. Sounds good and runs good. Tires wear great and give excellent control. never had any electrical or brake problems. Just like anything else, you need to take care of the truck. If you beat the H#%% out of it and no work,no good truck! LOVE it !! would and will buy another.

3 years of Titan Joyfullness
I have had my titan for 3 full years now and I love it. I have owned many cars and this is my second truck. I have been almost AMAZED at how reliable my Titan has been. I have almost 60k miles and really haven't had a single thing wrong with it. Every american made car or truck I have owned has been a mechanics dream since I always had them in the shop. I just had to write and tell everyone how great my 2007 Titan has been over the years. I would highly recommend this truck to any buyers who are looking for a used truck.
182,000 miles and still rolling :-)
People always seem to ask "How long will my truck last?". And I see people put things on here like I'm at 40K and 60K with no issues.. and that's cute but.. :-) I am really impressed with how my 2007 has held up. It could die tomorrow and I would be happy with it's performance and durability. Nothing but regular maintenance for me i.e. Oil Changes, Brakes, changing the fluids.. seriously that's all.. I am thinking about getting a new pioneer radio for the dash to update the electronics since it's 2016 and all, but won't be replacing my Rockford Fosgate speakers.. that truck has amazing sound, especially with the sub-woofer under my drivers seat.. Seriously, great truck. Just wanted to let some of you guys know as I remember wondering that myself when I brought her home. Good luck to you all in your vehicle endeavors. Reliable and tested!
Nissan Titan has been tested. No major changes have been made because it was made right from the beginning and set the standards which the others are setting as goals to beat. I just got mine with navigation, entertainment, sunroof and chrome wheels. Nissan is a strong company and I am comfortable to say that it will run the same 5 years from now!
Manufacture Support lacking
I have mixed feeling about my Titan ownership experience. I have had 3 batteries replaced in a truck with only 63k on it. I was working with Alice from Nissan and she advised no help would be provided even though the last battery was purchased about 2 years ago. Nissan will prorate however at the cost of $80. They take the position this is normal and haven’t identified anything wrong with it. The take away is the lack of support from the manufacture, so keep this in mind when making your purchase.

A real work horse
This truck takes anything I this in it or at it and takes it like a champ! 10 years and 165000 miles and I've only replaced the battery, the tires, the brakes, and the belt. It doesn't get great milage, but better than it's true compition, the 3/4 ton series.

BEWARE OF THE TITAN
Bought brand new from dealer in 07. Loyal Nissan owner (have owned no other vehicle). First thing to go bad was rear end (20K mi.), replaced. Then began running rough, stalled and would not run, brought in to Nissan, bad cat. converters, ruined my engine, had brand new engine put in, new cat. converters, and new fuel pump. Now tranny is slipping, and it has brake judder when applying brakes (out of warranty) DO NOT BUY. I have NEVER towed anything with my truck, never put more than 3 sheets of plywood in the back, and NEVER EVER abused my truck. All recommended maintenance performed, oil changed ever 3k miles, etc. I am now looking at a Toyota. WARNING DO NOT BUY!!!!
Horrible fuel mileage
I own a 2007 Nissan titan with close to 100,000 kms on it now. I bought it at 70,000 kms to replace a honda ridgeline that could not pull my 4,500 empty trailer. In the three years that I have owned the truck I must say it has been pretty good. It will start faithfully in anything warmer than -17 degrees and is quite reliable. Unfortunately, the steering is horrible and it feels like I am experiencing a death wobble when I drive it over bumps and cracks in the road. I have taken it in to Nissan a number of times only for them to say that there was either too much or too little tire pressure. They did not find problems until my son who is a mechanic brought the issues to their attention.
What a truck
I have always driven a Chevy Silverado except I owned a new Ford F150 for 3 yrs 99-2002. This Nissan Titan blows both of these other trucks away. My truck before this was a 2001 silverado that I had 175000 miles. The Nissan is a far better truck.
Great Truck
This truck is by far the best I have owned, I researched and test drove Chevy, Ford and Toyota prior to this purchase and for base items I got more for the money 5.6 V8, 18In rims, 33" tires etc. In all other trucks these were options that cost way more. Everyday I drive the truck I love it more. I just placed a true Dual Exhaust Flowmaster on it and it sounds and runs great.
Awesome Truck!
This is the first full size truck I have owned. I set out to buy a Tacoma, but after driving the Titan, I could not turn back. I went from driving a 10 year old Honda Civic that I loved to the Titan. I have not been disappointed. Both of my brothers want one. I drove all of the full size trucks before making my decision on the Titan. The Tundra does seem to have more power, but not enough to make a difference. This truck just stood out from the rest. I drove it 7 times before the purchase. Just had to be sure with the gas mileage.
Not pleased at all with this truck
I made a huge mistake when I bought this truck. At first it seemed great until I started having a lot of issues. First the transmission, then the brakes, then dash lights. The list goes on and on. The gas mileage is a joke. My buddy bought a 5.7L tundra which has more power and he gets better mileage not to mention when we pull our 4-wheelers, he leaves me in the dust.
Great truck!
Nissan engineers did a great job on this truck! The interior has more room than other 4dr trucks. The power is there for hauling / towing. The e- locker on the 4wd/off-road is nice. The body style is good. The sprayed in bed liner and utili-trac is perfect. I'm pleased with it and I've owned several trucks over the years. This is my first Nissan.
"TOP" Titan owner pleased!
This is my first Titan but not my last! I own a 31 ft. camper and love the way it tows it! It takes away a lot of stress that I had while towing with my Chevy Silverado 1500. While the Chevy has been a good truck, it can not compare to my Titan! I have all the get up and go that I need, very fast but also have all the pulling power as well ,all in the same truck. Did I mention the comfort? This truck handles and rides better than any suv that I have owned.I would not hesitate to go cross country in this truck! This truck is also easier to clean and maintain than most cars Ive owned except trying to reach across the cabin when washing. I only wish I had the Bose stereo like my Pathfinder!
The Titan is the best!
I love the Titan, it's is the most sylish, reliable, powerful truck (in its class)out there. The Ford F150, Dodge Ram, or Toyota Tundra do not have the presence of the Titan. It drives with ease, like a dream! I have to say the fuel economy is actually not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I would recommend this truck to anyone who is in the market for a full size truck.
Great Truck
Great Truck, I own a 2000 Dodge Ram and love my old truck. Nissan did a good job with this truck solid body good looks and a powerful engine. Standard features out class most trucks in its category. Gas mileage is bad but what do you expect with a big engine, if I was worried about gas then I would have bought a little truck.
One hell of a Ride
I like my Titan better than all the Fords, Dodges, Chevys and the recently copy-cat Tundra. It gets up and goes believe me. I'm in the army and I do all kinds of hauling from my gear to my 300+lbs ATV in the back. The Titan just hauls period. I've got the 2007 XE Titan, but just looking at it you'd think it was an SE because I have the 18 in SE rims. I fell in love with it when my two friends parents got the Titans when they first came out. I was a Dodge fanatic but as soon as I started riding along I felt that beast under the hood and boy does it roar. I just love how it's all jumpy when you get on the gas. It just makes me want to push on the gas mileage keeps me at the pump every week $35-$85.
so far so good!!!
I have about 39000 on my trunk now and it has been a good truck. The only problem i have had is the heater control switch will not move to thefull open position and the only way to six it is to take the hole dash off. So i just keep it at 80% and it is enough to keep me warm and the only other thing is the driver side door handle trim is coming off. I drive in the snow everyweekend on my way snowboarding, I still have a brand new set of of Tire chains i bought when i got the truck and they still have never been out of the boxes. Love the truck.
nicks titan
i do not know how they could have built a better truck. i have a bass boat and it pulls it effortlessly. style and comfort are great.sound systems rocks. thanks
Love this truck
This truck handles close to a sports car, it's unreal. The power of 5.6 V8 is awesome. It can pull about anything you put behind it love it.
Winner
A great daily driver with the ability to become the weekend toy hauler as well. Power seems never ending, great looking exterior with very functional interior. The cab seems almost as big as prior truck, F250 crew, but the drivability is much easier. I've seen complaints on cloth interior but it met my expectations. Can't complain about mpg, I get what I expected - around 15, mixed (60 hwy, 40 city). Tempting to use the gas pedal for fun though!
New Nissan Titan 07
I test drove Toyota Tundra 07, Ford F150 and Nissan Titan. I liked Toyota Tundra. The reason I went for Nissan Titan was the price. I got a price difference of almost $7000. Now I regret. I should have gone for Tundra. The ride is terrible in Nissan. It is like you ride on a horse cart. Jumping too much on every road. MPG is not what Nissan says. I get only 13 mpg. Body shape is good. I have a front bench seat. An adult can not sit for a long trip on that seat. Only a child less than 8 years can sit there. But traffic rules never allow a child less than 18 to be a front passenger.
Goku
Truck runs great has lots of power and also handles very well foe a truck
Tough but Fragile
As much as I love my Titan, my comfort has been a bit shattered. The service advisers at the dealership are great but they have been unable to figure out the reason for my constant radiator failures. I am currently on number 3. The radiator is definitely of poor design, but as long as it remains under the extended warranty I'll continue to bring it in. This truck has great potential.
loved it
drives like a champ, definitely the truck for me, I will drive nissans forever after buying this truck.
Great Truck
This truck has insane raw horsepower. It pulls my boat great, has plenty of leg room for kids/groceries. It looks great too. I have had issues with the clearcoat due to lovebugs (acidic bug in the southern US for yankee readers).
Great Truck!
The 07 Titan is simply an amazing truck at a fair price. The LE has many useful features, and the engine and transmission are reliable and powerful. Gas mileage could be better but it's a truck not a hybrid! The Utili-Trac system is very useful and the space inside the cabin is abundant and well thought out as is the instrument panel on the dash and the controls on the steering wheel. I previously owned a Tundra and the Titan is a much better vehicle in almost all phases, plus reliability with my Titan has already surpassed the reliability in my Tundra. If you're in the market for a great looking truck, with plenty of comfort, room, and power... look no further than the Titan LE.
