Tough but Fragile

As much as I love my Titan, my comfort has been a bit shattered. The service advisers at the dealership are great but they have been unable to figure out the reason for my constant radiator failures. I am currently on number 3. The radiator is definitely of poor design, but as long as it remains under the extended warranty I'll continue to bring it in. This truck has great potential.

It's worth every penny. Before I bought this truck I test drove the F-150 and the Tundra and neither compared. The power and torque are amazing. The gas mileage isn't that great but what do you want from a 5.6L V8. The flatbed carries more than a ton and it tows what it says it can. It's very easy to maintain and always gives me peace of mind that I will get to where ever I'm going safely. The interior is huge, I still am finding new places to put things in. Totally recommend to anyone in the truck market, this truck is much better than the F-150 by a long shot for value, price, and quality.

Awesome Truck

Former Tundra owner here and happy to be so. The Titan is simply an awesome vehicle performance wise & fun wise. It's also twice the vehicle that my troublesome Tundra ever was. I have 3200 miles on my new Titan with 2500 of those coming over the holiday on a family trip last week. I purchased the LE & it has surpassed expectations. We had a trouble free, comfortable trip in the Titan & our three Toddlers fit easily & comfortably in the back seat with not one complaint about comfort the entire time. The Titan has endless power, a luxury car-like ride & little wind noise. That's saying a lot, since we drove into some winds that exceeded 30mph on our trip. The Titan is just a fantastic truck!

Just took delivery in early January 07. I took 400 mile trip day after delivery and was well pleased with the performance and ride of this vehicle. I got 16 MPH and hope this improves. This truck is far superior to my 2003 GMC. I would advise anyone looking to buy a new pick up to check out the Titan before you buy.

In the market for a new truck to replace 5.2 L Dakota. Tried new Dakota and Tundra to rule out Titan 5.6L 4x4. Can't rule it out even if it is larger than needed. It's a truck...believe me!

The 07 Titan is simply an amazing truck at a fair price. The LE has many useful features, and the engine and transmission are reliable and powerful. Gas mileage could be better but it's a truck not a hybrid! The Utili-Trac system is very useful and the space inside the cabin is abundant and well thought out as is the instrument panel on the dash and the controls on the steering wheel. I previously owned a Tundra and the Titan is a much better vehicle in almost all phases, plus reliability with my Titan has already surpassed the reliability in my Tundra. If you're in the market for a great looking truck, with plenty of comfort, room, and power... look no further than the Titan LE.

I owned a 2002 Toyota Tundra, very good Truck, but nothing like the Titan. The design, interior room and comfort, power train, storage, fun factor etc are second to none. I recommend this Truck to anyone looking to purchase - new or used. I have just over 1,000 miles trouble free to this point and I mean not event a hint of an issue. I could go on, but I guess the bottom line is that this is a great truck that you will enjoy driving, owning, using for a long time.

I looked at EVERY truck on the market. Titan by far is the best ruck for the money. The domestics have slightly better gas mileage but this Titan whips them in every other way. Good style, good motor, japanese reliability in an american built truck (yes it's built here in the USA). I paid 27,000 and got more than that in value. If you want import quality without the Toyota price, go with Titan.

I have a 2007 Titan LE. Good looking truck and that is about all the good I have to say about it. 13 MPG, uncomfortable, and a vibration I cannot get rid of. I even traded the Goodyear SR-A tires with less then 1000 miles to Michelins in hope that would fix the problem. Another $990.00 spent on a vehicle that I wish I had never purchased. I have driven trucks all of my life, this is the eigth pick-up I have owned, the only new one and by far the most disappointing.

My review title says it all. This is my second Titan. I owned a 2004 SE King Cab and now a 2007 SE Crew Cab. The only complaint on the King Cab was not enough room. And gas mileage, of course. But as another rater mentioned, if I wanted good gas mileage I would've bought a smaller truck or a Honda Ridgeline. YUK!!! Interior room is great and the new iPod accessory hook up is great. No complaints.

This truck is unbelievable! The power, looks, handling, interior, exterior, chrome, and the stereo rocks. I test drove all other makes and models, and none came close to the Titan. I recommend the Titan if you are looking for a large truck. The price and the quality you get makes it even more appealing. I suggest black with chrome wheels, and chrome step sides.

We have driven a Ford, Chevy, Dodge, GMC and Toyota truck. I have to say that after driving this truck, we will never turn back. This truck rides so smooth and has a lot of room in it. The gas mileage isn't the greatest but we can live with that. I feel the dash board is made for dummies. It's easy to see and operate.

I have owned Nissan trucks in the past; however, this is by far the best truck they have ever built. I had a Chevy Silverado before purchasing this truck so I test drove the new ones before buying the Titan. This truck has so much more muscle that I had to get it. It converted an old Chevy dog like me back to a Nissan Titan fan.

My Titan replaces an 05 F150 w/ 5.4L V8. Compared to the Ford, which was a very good truck, the Nissan has a much stronger performing drivetrain and returns fuel economy slightly better than the Ford 5.4 did. To me, the bucket seats up front are very comfortable, though some may find them too firm. The stereo and HVAC controls are laid out well and are easy to use and look very nice, even with the orange backlighting. In the back seat, I really like the wide opening rear doors when loading people or stuff when parked beside another car. The bag hooks under the back seat are also a nice touch. The stock 33" tires give the truck a very beefy look, unlike the competition's smallish tires.

I looked at all the full sized trucks for six months and decided on the Titan. This is by far the best truck I have had the pleasure of owning. I used to be a brickmason and have owned Dodge, Chevy (GMC) and Ford. This truck more than meets all my expections. I tried out Toyota, Chevy, Ford and Dodge and found that for the money you can't beat the Titan. I love smoking the Hemi Dodges at the red lights. I will probably never own anything but a Nissan.

I went to the dealership to look at a used Chevy Silverado. I ended up with a Nissan Titan. My initial disappointment has turned around 180 degrees. I love my Titan. This is what a truck should be. Power, comfort, handling it has it all. I originally intended to keep this truck a year and trade for a chevy but now it has found a home.

This truck is the most fun to drive truck that I have ever driven. With an eight speaker stereo, 315 horsepower, five speed auto, all of those tie down locations in the bed, BF Goodrich mud and snow tires, disk brakes all the way around, they have given you everything that you could possibly want in a truck. Did I say that it is really fast for a four wheel drive truck? As a truck it's all good no bad.

Overall, I like this truck. I receive many compliments on the truck's exterior and roomy interior. I enjoy commuting to work in it. The seats are really comfortable and a good powerful engine. Only complaints are MPG is not so good even though it's a V8, and the shifting column is too long and in the way of me trying to tune the radio/cd knobs and buttons. Also the mirror could be a little larger and without the orange reflection at night time vision.

I purchased my Titan a month ago and have enjoyed driving it every single day. I drove the F-150, Dodge Ram 1500, and the new Chevy Silverado before driving the Nissan. I felt the Nissan had the most power, most rear seat room, was very comfortable, and had many features the other 1/2 ton trucks didn't even have (power rear window WITH defroster, side lock box, utili-trac bed, self damping tailgate, extendable tow mirrors, and more). The interior is comfortable. The power seems endless. The Rockford stereo sounds great, and I love the killer exhaust note that some complain about (no need for aftermarket exhaust!). Over all the Titan is a very versatile truck for the money and fun to drive.

I test drove every make and model for every company before I decided on this one. I am 6'5 and one of my main concerns was room. I have plenty of leg room and there is still plenty of room in the back for other people. It has plenty of power and the drive is as smooth as any other truck I drove. Hands down the best truck out there.

Handles nimbly, almost like a car, no drifting. Very quiet and very smooth transmission. Excellent pick-up. I have owned 4 Toyotas and this is my first Nissan. We'll see what happens in 200K miles, though others say 300K with Nissans is no problem. Much better looking than the '08 Tundra and more affordable for me. My advice would be to drive both over the weekend and corner them hard and over the tracks. I think you'll like the handling of the Titan. I love mine.

This is my first Nissan Truck but it won't be my last. I have owned several domestic full size 4wd trucks and they do not compare to the titan in terms of quality, performance, and value. I have logged 18,500 miles in less than a year and had zero problems of any kind. Zero trips to the dealer except for routine maintenance.

This vehicle was purchased used and has performed very well. I've driven it in ice, snow, sand, on and off road and it handles well. Great acceleration and handling. One complaint is the leather seats don't hold up well. The stitching has pulled loose and needs replacement. This vehicle is NOT used as a work vehicle, rather for family use. My biggest complaint is the poor quality of paint. Mine is dark blue and the clear coat peels and paint fades in the Florida sun regardless of maintenance. I've had it repainted once and it needs it again. Also, the plastic headlight lenses cloud easily. They can only be treated so many times.

Bought mine new in 07...drove chevy ford dodge and liked the Titan better THEN in spring of 07 Nissan had TONS of unsold Titans sitting in Mississippi SO they offered a TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR DISCOUNT on ANY Titan on the lot! That's right, pick any Titan deduct 10900 off the sticker that was your price! I went down immediately and drove off with a KC SX with the preferred package for...$15,327 plus tax and title!!!! Best deal I ever made on ANY vehicle...my only regret was not picking an LE for 5000 more UPDATE: March, 2021...I still have my 07 Titan other than batteries& tires hasn't needed a THING...even the brakes are still original but probably will replace them someday. IMO I'll STILL take the Titan over ANYTHING else even tho they're a little dated when you get it right the first time why change? Any Titan owner who's had theirs awhile will agree I'm sure...HELL OF A TRUCK
