First Car
Reliable overall. I drove many rental cars for work; driving out of the airport home, I'd notice how much sturdier and more powerful the sentra felt than the rental cars. Needed only standard maintenance over the years, but later, had a real problem with the electrical system. After 100K alternator/battery was replaced 3 times over the course of a few months. The car was just dying all over the place. Also on my car & every other 94 Sentra LE i've seen on the street it seems like the hubcaps have fallen off! I sold it at 125K - it was a good car while it lasted.
Single owner for 14 years
I was looking for a reliable, economical and long lasting car in 1994, now I know I found it!
Good Buy
If you are looking for a great car for your kids for college, or high school, this is an awesome car!! This is the 2nd vehicle I've owned, and I am very happy. I have been rearended once, and collided with another vehicle, with little damage to the car, and none to myself or my passengers. fuel comsumption is fantastic. Dependability is 1000%. This car has always started on the 1st try, and has never let me standing. Very roomy in the back. If you are considering purchasing this car, I say do it. REMEMBER, that routine maintainence is essential, even more so with an older car. I have literally driven the hell out of this car, and it keeps going.
Great Car
I bought this car new in early 1995. Replaced part of the A/C system at about 30k, under warranty. No problem since.
Very Reliable
I bought this car when it was a year old and I have had it since. I did real bad with maintenance but the thing just keeps running. Just recently I replaced 146,000 mile drive belts. Not because I was having problems with it...I was just concerned that they were so old. After 100,000 miles things started breaking: Battery, water pump, thermostat, rotors, pads, and calipers. I think this is good conssidering that one of my friends have Dodge Neons and they had to replace the head gasket at 20,000 miles and another one had to replace his Grand Prix water pump at 60,000.
