Love This Car!
I really love this car, it drives so smooth and handles way better than most other cars on the road. It has plenty of speed for a 20 year old car, and the interior is amazing. Repairs can be costly but if you take care of it, it will last a very long time. They are also very fun to customize although it requires a lot of knowledge and skill plus a lift lol.
Tripple Threat!
The 90's Z is by far the best vehicles of its era. Its a tripple treat, Style, Comfort, and Performance. Ive owed a 91 300zx for a little over 4 years. the overall design is out standing from its 3l V6 to the exterior design, flawless interior and performance. The z one of the best sports cars to date. Handling in the vehicle is optimal with its front engine RWD makes cornering a blast. If you find your self on a curvy road, you will find no greater experience. The 300zX is a sport "luXury" car, it does not cheat you out of any equipment however the suspension is designed with only one thing in mind performance. over all the z is a magnificent car driven to trill.
Good, affordable fun
172,000 miles and still going strong.
'91 300ZX STD
This thing handles like no other car I've owned-put a set of sticky tires on it & give me a wicked turning road, and I'm in hog heaven. Also the advertised mileage for it, in my case at least,, is a bit low. I've seen as high as 26 mpg on road trips. Can't complain about that! I always thought this model was the sharpest looking one of the bunch, hands down.
1991 Nissan 300zx
My 300zx was an amazing car!! They all are. I loved the way it performed. Even though it was a non turbo it is still pretty quick sitting at 220hp stock. I have NEVER even sat in a car that handles better than a 300zx. It just grips the road so well. Unfortunately mine was a hole in my wallet and everyone around where I live that owned one that I have talked to said the same thing. That's why I sold my baby. But if you have the money its worth the buy!!!! these cars are so much fun!!!!
Twin Turbo 1991 300zx
common injector failure almost unlimited resources for after- market performance parts (twinturbo.net) and (conceptZperformance) are among my favs. THIS CAR IS HABIT FORMING!

Purchase a AutoCheck Report or Carfax with the Vehicle VIN or License Plate to give you some insight into the vehicle history. Ask the owner questions you might have and test drive the Nissan 300ZX. The 30yr young sports car was a thrill to drive! Negotiated the selling price, a few minutes to complete the paperwork and drove it home.

Can't beat it
Having driven sports cars for some 45 years, the 90-96 300ZX is the best bang for the buck out there. Can be a boulevard cruiser, interstate cruiser and best of all, a quick, handling, back roads burner. Maintenance will depend on previous ownership. Find a good one (not easy) and upkeep will not be prohibitive. Is a pleasure to own and drive and still turns heads 14-20 years later. As one reviewer wrote in 1990, "best sports car ever!"
These Zs ROCK!!
You will not find a better sport car for the money.. Period! These cars are highly reliable and they just don't build them like these anymore. The Z is a 10 year old model, but it's aggressive styling has not been dated. It sure beats the looks of any 10 year old car out there. They are rare too, so you arent driving a Mustang or Honda like every else on the road.
Zee Best
After 40 plus years of sports car driving I find my '91 300zx 2+2 NA outshines all the others put together. Boulevard cruising or back road spirited drives, the car is great. The non turbo has plenty of get up and go, handles marvelously while being very creature comfortable and easy to drive under most conditions. And the styling, after 17 years still turns heads and will 17 years into the future. A practical, performing true sports car for the ROAD.
awesome
awesome, best car i have ever owned.
The Best
This my 2nd 300ZX.. My first is a 1994 300ZX NA. I decided to get a TT and its the best thing thats ever happend to me.. THis is awsome!
Happy with my Z
Used for occasional work car, frequently on weekends and occasionally on a road racing track. Very easy and economical to upgrade horse power, brakes and handling characteristics. Bought at 25000 miles for very reasonable price. NEVER any problems. Best suited for people who enjoy performance driving or who want to race with their daily driver.
it rocks
It is by far the best car I've ever owned. And the performance is just mind- blowing... especially after a few modifications. Very mod friendly car and easy to achieve high HP numbers and still a very fun daily driver.

BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK !!!
1991 Nissan 300ZX
My favorite car in the world is the 300ZX. I owned a '91 2+2 for a couple of months in 2001, standard transmission of course. My "Z" had a few problems but I wouldn't have traded it for anything. Unfortunetly, I totaled it in October '01. In November '01 I bought a 2000 Escort ZX2 and got a job as a delivery driver. I have been saving money for about a year now and I will soon have my second "Z".
my 300zx twin turbo
The only "bad news" about this car has been the reliability of the fuel injectors. I've been through 14 of them since I bought the car. Other than that, it's been a great car. It still runs like new, and there's not a squeak or rattle in the car at all (if fact, I have some friends who think the car is still relatively new, it's so quiet!).
Great car
This is one of the best cars ever made. The new 350z has nothing on it.
Sick Car
I love this car. Never trhought about buying a Z until i saw it at an auction. this is definitely the best choice for the money. you'll definitely get noticed with this car.
I'd like to keep this car forever
The car has been my favorite in over 45 years of driving. It has good power...not too much, not too little. It handles beautifully, has a very nice sound system, and still looks contemporary after 12 years on the road. This is in spite of the car requiring a number of major repairs over the past two years, all due to wear or mechanical failures, not collision damage. Fuel injector rails, manual transmission, clutch, drive shaft, and even the Bose head unit have all been replaced in the past six months. It feels like new, and when I have the black trim parts replaced, the lower portion repainted, and four door dings repaired, it will look new as well.
Bought new in 91
Second new Z I've owned... had an 87 turbo new also... Loved both and still have my 91 non-turbo.. Still get lots of compliments on the classic stle of this car. It handles like a dream..love to drive it.. Only issue after 105,000 miles is that clock doesnt work...
300zx
this is one of car a must to be in a classic car. it is quite a collection car.the sleek sexy look. eye catching and it is a mysterious car. the built and quality of the car.
Z ya later!
Incredible car in which i enjoy owning. After months of finally searching for the right one, i found it. my 1991 300z has never really done me wrong. If you treat it good, it will return the favor. Ample speed, suspension. Nissan designers went all out on this one. Fresh design that was conceptualized in 1989 still looks head-turning today, in 2003. How many other 12-13 year old cars do that? No qualms with my Z. I look forward to pushing it to its limits and beyond. Cockpit with its guage clusters is futuristic and ahead of its time. Speed on non turbo model is still fast. handles on rails. I'll never trade up my Z!!
Pros and Cons
overall good car. definitely not a slow car. the way that they car looks is sleek and sporty.
awesome car
The car is a true sports car with great syling. With all of the after market products for this car you can easily push the equal horsepower as a viper, for tens of thousands less. Great handling and acceleration.
1991 300ZX
The absolute finest automobile I'ver ever owned. Still turns head 16 years later. I've put 30,000 miles on it in 15 months and it's never failed. Gas mileage for a muscle car is very favorable at 24-25 miles hwy. City traffic is brutal, yielding only about 17 MPG. Car rides a little stiff but that is the norm for low-profile sports cars.
good
Great car to own. Fun to ride and get in Z clubs and for a 16 year old car, it still gets plenty of attention.
Awesome
Good performance, but I'll be twin-turbo'ing it sometime for more. Nice and low, stiff for stock (good). Handling is amazing, can't imagine how good it'll be with aftermarket coilovers. Extremely fun to drive. Very comfortable interior - only bad thing is no tilt. Requires premium fuel. 5-speed is great. Perfect shifter placement. No cup-holders, but you shouldn't need them in this car! Beautiful design. Definitely an eye-catcher (mine's red). Very light rear end and tight engine space. Great brakes. Overall a great car. Better than most sports cars I've driven. Pretty loud for a stock car. Encountering fellow Z32 owners on the road is great. Whoever said it's a Japanese supercar was right.
LIGHTNING
The American pony cars are the only cars in this price range that can compare. The Z loses out in low-range power but you forget about that once you hit about 3600 and the turbos kick in. Nimbler handling because of its short wheelbase and better build quality too. The twin turbo Supras are supposed to be faster but they're twice the price. Then the new Z is of course way more expensive but you can take them out at a stoplight or on the freeway with this one. SMOOTH.
Free"Z"ing
I just bought this 1991 300ZX TT. It has 99K on it, but it was a one owner, garage kept, adult driven vehicle, clean like it was brand new inside and out. I used to look at these cars, when you'd rarely see one, and admire them from a distance, not being close to able to afford one back in the 1990's. I gotta say, my expectations overall, have been far exceeded. My 300Zx TT is 100% stock and it drives very nicely at a relaxed state, but when I want it to, it moves like a leopard with a bad attitude... swift, low and mean. It's a complete driving pleasure no matter the terrain and can turn the most discerning heads. I love it and haven't ever owned any better vehicle! Find a well kept 300ZX and you're not gonna be disappointed!
Really fun, but nightmare with repairs
I first bought this car used from a guy in March of 08. I loved this car a lot. Of all the cars I have driven it's the most fun to drive (mostly due to manual). But 3 months later the clutch went out (partially due to learning stick on this car). I think the clutch was never replaced though. Replaced this and then 2 weeks later the car wouldn't start. Replaced that assuming it was just because of age but it did it again 3 or 4 months later and replaced once again. Strangely enough at a car show I met someone who knew the guy and said he used it as a project car. So I am thinking that may be one reason why the car always had to be repaired.
