I've had the car for 3 weeks. It handles GREAT! and the ride is magnificent . I'm having a ball using all of the great gizmos (most cabin functions are voice controlled, Keyless go, fully electronic trunk, and much more) Command is not nearly so difficult as the writers say you learn it in a few days. The 4matic, ESP and brake assist already got me out of what could have been a bad skid. My only concern is the occassional bad story of something going wrong with all of that technology, but I'm loving the car too much to really think about it. I guess that is what extended warrantys are for

I believe Mercedes still has a lot of room to improve on their "high end" car. It was always my dream to own a "Big Mercedes" for the style, luxury, and comfort. I find it to be satisfying with the car, but disappointed with the lack of attention to the details. This car always had some minor electrical problems (turning lights, ets) that the dealer can never seem to figure it out. Navigation system needs major improvement (with touch screen). Nevertheless, I like the style and smooth acceleration of its fine motor. It's like a dream come true, but not quite perfect.

its truly a unique experience. Handling on tight corners, and plowing through the rain leaving 4-wheel trucks behind is awesome. Sports package really makes it appealing but for the 4matic front and rear tires are not staggered - the only complaint I have is memory seats require holding the button until completion, BMW-7 one touch and I wish my car had better gas mileage

I really loving this model, despite changing one of the car air suspension but It really deserves this reputation, it’s really comfortable in driving , somehow decent in gas (AWD), spacious and looking great.

The s430 is one of the best I have owned. Handling, comfort, stability, reliability, power and ambience, out of this world. I can't think of what else to drive after this. I have used this vehicle every day for more than two year, even in the most challenging terrains, yet, it delivers. Knock on wood. The only downside is with the pneumatic door system which fails without easy remedy. Otherwise, it is a good vehicle.

The S430 with the sport pkg is just did it for me. Love it the minute driving off the lot. I couldn't afford the s500 sport or the s55 but this vehicle enough for my pocket.

i purchased this car to replace a 1997 e-320 with 107,000 miles. what an improvement over a great car. the s- class literally floats on the road but with a good feel of the road at the same time. and to be honest, it is prestigious, which is why i call it my 21st century cadillac fleetwood, the car i always wanted when i was much younger a long time ago. furthermore, they price was discounted!!

Great car ,love the air ride. CD player should also be in dash. You would think that with a $90,000 car the rear seat bun warmers would be included, not an extra.
