You get lots of creature comforts with the 2016 Lincoln Navigator. I've only owned mine for 6 months and have put on about 7K miles. I really like the vehicle It's comfortable to drive and has a great turning radius for such a big vehicle. I've had absolutely no issues with it so far. The only complaint I have it around it's handling on rough roads - it throws everyone in the car around quite a bit and makes it uncomfortable. Other than that I love it. UPDATE: I've owned the Navigator for almost a year now and have put over 20K miles on it. Everything I before is still holding true. Good value.

I'd love it if I could drive it!

Coming from a Suburban, I love driving this vehicle. When it's drive-able that is.I have had constant problems with the door latches freezing (they open, but bounce open and won't latch when this occurs). This has been fixed 3 times by 2 different dealers, there was a "customer satisfaction program" on these. The F-150 pickups have the same latches/problem, there is a class action lawsuit over this. Now the engine sounds like it is self destructing at 29K miles. Do a search on this motor and timing chain/phasers and it's turns out it's a well known problem. 3 weeks in the shop now, the body is off the frame and the engine is torn apart. Last problem - the door stops don't hold the rear doors open on the slightest hill. Kids, dogs, parents all have the door slam on them if you don't hold the door open. Been "fixed" twice now, never gets any better. Not a huge problem if you're aware of it. What it boils down to is this has been my beef with Ford, and why I went 15 years before I'd touch another one - they can't get simple things right on their vehicles. I'll ride the warranty out on this one, then I'm done with Ford!

Beautiful Vehicle

The Navigator is a beautiful vehicle to own and to drive. Obviously because of the size of the vehicle, fuel economy is not the best but really not too bad. Comfort is amazing and so is he ride. There is plenty of room in this vehicle for just about anything. Towing capabilities are wonderful and stopping if towing is above average. If you are going to be in an area where there is snow, I truly recommend getting this vehicle with 4 wheel drive. Have had no problems with the vehicle and I must say that with the twin turbos this large vehicle really gets up and moves. The navigation system gets a little getting used to but pretty good once you learn how to use it. The system was changed in 2016 witch helped. I very highly recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Pleasantly surprised by the V6's capabilities

Our family was in need of a vehicle capable of hauling our 7,000 lb travel trailer, a loaded car trailer that commonly weighs just north of 8,000 lbs, and seat 6 humans with their cargo on a regular basis; much to my disappointment my old 2006 Toyota Tundra no longer fit the bill for our family's needs. I searched for a while and found a great deal on this one owner Lincoln that had been taken care of very well. So far we have put 15k miles on it with daily driving and a hand full of road trips. The pros: It is very comfortable in all of the seats and has features that I didn't even know were needed in a vehicle, most of which are very nice but some I personally could do without. It has road manners that are much better than a truck but definitely not car like; it's the size of small bus so you can't expect any better than what you get. The adjustable suspension is very nice for when you are hauling and when you are on long road trips, it is easily adjusted on the flu through the control panel. The power took me by surprise; having V8's for the last two decades I was blown away by the amount of power produced by this V6 with the turbos. This motor hauls with greater ease and better file economy than I expected. The cons: Everything is electronically controlled and i worry that this could get very expensive as the vehicle ages for repairs. I have yet to have a failure but that risk/reality does feel looming. The 4wd system is classified as a "light" 4wd system; I know that I am an anomaly when it comes to how typical Navigator driver's use their vehicle as I still treat my like my work truck. I do think there are limitations to this 4wd system verses what the Tundra had when it comes to getting through a muddy field and driving through the deep snow that Upstate New York winters bring. All and all it has been a pleasant surprise nearly all around. This vehicle has served my family's needs where my old truck could no longer and has done so with comfort which I expected and with power and ease which I did not.

Comfy Car-like Ride, Plenty of Power and Room

4.5 Stars because nothing is perfect :D We are a "Lincoln family", if you will. The 2015 Nav. I currently drive is by far my favorite Navigator to date. (It's my 2nd all-time favorite Lincoln only because I LOVED our 2004 Aviator!) I retired a 1998 Nav. with over 500k miles for a 2008 model. And as far as I know the '98 is still on the road and being driven by the family I gave her to. I put 170k+ on the '08 before setting her aside for the '15 I currently drive. The 2008 is now our back-up family vehicle. But there is a MAJOR difference between my first 2 and this one. Other than the obvious interior upgrades and better tech, this SUV "truck" drives and rides like a dream. I always loved having a V8 under the hood but the power from this Ecoboost turbo V6 is impressive. The ride quality has substantially improved over the years as well. There is a luxury car-like ride to this model - especially when compared to earlier versions. The acceleration is smooth and pretty sweet for this land yacht. The interior is very comfortable and roomy. The controls are easily accessible and I find the dash and console layout stylish. My biggest complaint, if you want to call it that, is that they did away with a lot of the Lincoln Star And NAVIGATOR emblems found in various places in the previous model. Call me conceded (I don't care) but if if I'm going to pay for luxury I want to see it. Gone is the stylish analogue clock that used to be between the center console vents. They also did away with the Lincoln Star on the door chrome and embroidered into the headrest just to name a few changes. Overall, I am very pleased with how well this vehicle has held up through the years. The interior is still like new after 180k miles. I have a decent commute 6 days a week so having something as nice as this really takes the suck out of something that would otherwise be a pain. Regular maintenance is key to keeping these things running and looking great. I'm more than content to keep this for as long as I can. The newest models not only cost as much as a house but I'm also not the biggest fan of huge infotainment screens and completely digital dashes.
