Almost got it right
While the Jeep 2.4 L awd Latitude basic vehicle is well thought out; the technology package ruined it for us. The system is designed to seize your phone when you plug it into the charging port, whether you want it to or not. I could not make or receive a call, or navigate without interference by the Jeep programs. It attempted to use any information on my phone that Jeep felt was potentially in play. I could not have a private conversation on my phone without interference. It searched my phone for music! The interface was complex to the point of being opaque. System controls require a class to operate. We never knew what to expect. At one point we were getting conflicting statements on navigation from Jeep and our own phone NAV program! Lack of a CD us a little too advanced for most. Requires customers to be into MP3 or device based music files.

Oil Consumption
I bought the Jeep brand new. We are always adding oil in between oil changes. Oil changes are done based on dealers schedule. When I say something to the mechanic about losing oil, I was told that was a known issue with this vehicle. If they know it’s a problem why don’t they fix it.

Good car
Big enough for a family. Priced well enough to allow more features into a budget. *update. With less than 50,000 miles, I’m already failing state inspection and having to put $2,000 into it. You get what you pay for, I guess

Love my Cherokee Overland
Bought my 2018 Jeep Cherokee Overland about 3 months ago. So far I have no complaints and just love my Jeep. I miss the CD player but it's still fully loaded with the panoramic sunroof, 3.2 Engine, fog lights, and leather seats.
