Used 2014 Hyundai Tucson SUV Consumer Reviews
My favorite car ever
I simply love this car. It feels great driving. In fact, I have to fight my husband and son to drive it when we are together. For reviewer that feels it lacks power, do you have ECO on? as this does save gas but slows the punch down. Mine gets exactly the mileage advertised, is easy to park, fun to drive, and I love all the features such as unlocking without touching my keys and the control panel. Also, when the seats are down it has as much cargo room as my husband's truck. Would have bought this earlier if I had known about this car prior.

Look around before you buy
We are in our late 60's and wanted a small suv. Mileage is nowhere close to what is advertised about 21MPG. It is underpowered to the point of being dangerous. If you are driving in any kind of wind, HANG ON TO THE WHEEL! Maybe after someone is killed in one of these Hyundai might listen. This is the worst car I have ever owned and I have owned plenty in my lifetime

Demon child
I'm sure there are plenty of good ones, mine wasn't. I could hardly go a month without something happening to it. Most was exterior stuff that I don't blame the vehicle for(had a deer deflected at me, a little old lady hit my front corner u turning into the parallel parking spot in front of me, ect.) However then the issues became mechanical. I had bought it in Sept 2017. By March the passenger side window switch needed to be replaced. I had it in for a complete service in March 2018 as well. I was doing my part to maintain it. Then just 3 months later, my hubby and I headed out for a night away. Well about 215 km(130-ish miles) and over 2.5 hours from home the engine started making not just a knocking noise but a squealing knock. Had to have it towed back about half way that day and the next day towed the rest of the way back to the dealership. Turns out the bearings were wearing out causing metal shavings in the cam shaft. Thankfully I paid for the top of the line extra warranty I could for it being a used vehicle. Total repair bill was about $13,000 of which I had to pay a little over $1000(Canadian). They had it for about 3.5 weeks. The day I got it back, I drove it 10.5 km and had to have it towed back again. They had forgotten to secure the coolant hose clamp so she was leaking coolant and overheating, risking the damn thing exploding as I was about to hop on a highway. That is nothing to do directly with the vehicle but feel that it is worth mentioning. I may never own another Hyundai but will certainly never go back to that dealership.

Great car but I hate the radio
The Tucson is a nice solid SUV that drives and rides like a sedan. The seats are very comfortable, the A/C works perfectly. We love everything about the car except for the radio, which needs a copilot, especially a very young one, to operate. What ever happened to user friendly? Every new Hyundai I get has a completely new radio design and every one gets harder to use. No pushbutton resets on this one, and there is a small display that is impossible for the driver to see and use while driving. A very unsafe situation if you want to change stations on the highway. I have complained to Hyundai but they don't seem to understand.
