Worst rental on wet roads
This was a Thrifty Rental and I should have known when I initially heard the wipers squeaked and sounded like they were scratching the window that I should have expected problems. I drove this front wheel drive car in heavy rain and it felt like the left front wheel was going to fall off every time. This car was always difficult for my 6 foot 1 inch body to get in and out of and I hit my head multiple times on the door frame. This car was too low to the ground but it did have good visibility. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone over 5 foot tall.

Junk
This car was bought we were it's second owners. Within 3 weeks engine would stall out. Engine light came on immediately. Multiple missfires. After putting on only 23000 miles. Engine seized . This car is junk don't buy elentra or Hyundai. The cheap Chinese made vehicles. Had to file a claim with Hyundai.

Worst Elantra ever made
Gas guzzler
Tried it but didn’t buy it
Car seemed alright but for the money I’d expected more after reading reviews on the Hyundai . The car looked and felt cheap. I bought a Toyota Corolla SE instead and feel it was the better choice

Great value
I agree with all the previous review. I owned mine for 2 years and traded in on a Tucson. I miss the sportiness and speed of the Elantra Sport. I don't necessarily miss the harsh ride. They also don't make the Sport model anymore so if you want one you'll have to buy used now.
