2018 Elantra SE with only 1100 Miles /Early review
The SE is the Base model. I am not expecting to much. Comfort is decent ( no lumbar adjustment) ride is just OK with stock tires. Fuel economy so far has been great @ around 39 MPG average. (ECO mode). We will see how the dealer support is.Overall a pretty good little car for $15,500 OTD.

Motor mount after motor mount
So I do like the car. It has treated me well. However it has been the poster child for all the TSBs. My thermostat failed at 500 miles. Come 5 months later the check engine light came on for the thermostat, and I ended up needing a software reflash. Then I developed a clunking noise on right turns. Replaced a strut. No dice. Replaced the motor mount, fixed the issue. Come not even 2000 miles later the motor mount needed to be replaced again. Hyundai updated the passenger side motor mount to a new part number as the rubber stopper seemed to have issues in the 2017 models. Now my suspension just creaks and groans on right turns when cold. Did it since brand new. The interior though is awesome and the car overall drives great. I had a 15 Elantra and the gas mileage in the new one is much better. Transmission does short shift at times but not too bad. Engine is smooth as well. Not a bad car but kinda tired of the repetitive issues. May consider something else but not all the elantras have a bunch of problems
Smooth, quiet, exceeds expectations
I've owned mine for a year having downsized from a much larger car. My Elantra drives beautifully, it is smooth, quiet and composed with all the power that I need. Gas mileage averages 33mpg, but easily exceeds 40 mpg on the highway at about 65mph. It is also surprisingly roomy for a compact with decent head and leg room in the rear, the sedan version is much roomier than the hatchback. I did not expect to end up wit this car but I was impressed with the test drive and the price and 0/0 financing made it a great deal.
Definetly Worth Your Money
I have had my 2018 Hyundai Elantra for 2 years now and i have never expeirenced a single problem. I am at 46k miles and the car still runs perfect. I am not sure what the future holds, but as of right now, everything has been perfect. I love this vehicle and would love to by another one.
