All i can say is this is the finest vehicle i have ever owned, i'm 72 an owned a lot of cars, an this is tops, thanks
Great SUV , Great Price
My wife an I looked at several alternatives. Including the Lexus RX 330, Acura MDX, and the Toyota 4 Runner. What we found that at several thousands less and with all of the features we wanted, including Rear backup camera and DVD navigation we couldn't shy away from the value this vehicle has to offer. With the money we saved we opted for several accessories to add some class such as wood trim and chrome tubes steps and we still only hit the $31,000 mark. We got a great deal and a awesome car. This vehicle's MSRp with Accessories is over $36,000 wow. You won't be disappointed. One note though, if there is any thing I would change it would be a tighter or firmer steering

Great for the right person
Having always been a Honda guy I went with the Pilot. Pros- Seats 7, roomy, good passenger storage. The wheel wells are 4'2" apart so you can fit everything from sheetrock to golf clubs. Drives awsome in the snow and poor conditions. Overall no major mechanical problems. Cons- For the $ you can buy a vehicle with much better creature comforts. No I-Pod jack, Seats are uncomfortable, MPGs are Average for a vehicle this size. Heat went out and was $400 to fix @ 40K. If you dont need or want bells and whisles this may be a good vehicle for you.
We have two (2) Pilots
I know, I know, to have two of the same vehicle sounds different however we cross the continental divide often in the winter. We liked front wheel drive (had a minivan) but having an extra two drive wheels has been often reassuring. One of us is not very hip on the outside design but is comforted by their quality mechanicals. Most people who ride in them comment that they will seriously consider buying one also. Plainly, that is what sells these Pilots! Looking to motor in them for at least 10 years or 200,000 miles whichever comes first.
Honda's are your Best Value
I only just picked up my Pilot 4 days ago (2007)and I am thrilled with it! I test drove the Highlander and even though the outside is attractive, the comfort of driving one even for a test drive just didn't cut it for me. I wanted more from my vehicle for the price range. I went with the Pilot since it was over $8,000 cheaper. I know I made the right decision after bringing home the Pilot and driving it.
