Used 2008 Honda Accord Sedan Consumer Reviews
Nice as a BMW 3 Series
I just purchased my 2008 Honda Accord V6 this past weekend. As a previous BMW owner i was extremely impressed with Honda's finished product. The new Accord shares some design cues with BMW on the sides, trunk, and front headlights. The fit and finish are top- notch, and the performance is good as well. I dont think im going to miss my BMW.
Not Impressed
So much for Honda reliability. The tires which Honda has decided to equip there best selling car with are the worst rated for driving on snow and in wet conditions. The satellite radio cuts out constantly, the heated seats are barely warm, the sound system is pathetic and the brakes wore out around 15,000 miles (google it...there's lots of complaints). On top of all that the engine is completely lame...just not fun to drive at all.

2008 Accord, what a car!
I spent a long, long time researching and reviewing the cars available to meet my needs of a family sedan. I considered many makes and models, both foreign and domestic. Based on my particular needs and taste, the 08 Accord won hands down. I have had the car for only 3 days and driven it about 200 miles. It is a truly remarkable vehicle. The V6 is so smooth and powerful, with no perceptible change as the motor switches back and forth between running on 6, 4, or 3 cylinders. The ride and handling are outstanding. The ivory leather interior is outstanding. The dash is very impressive with the burl wood trim. The quality is so high, I haven't heard one squeak or rattle. I love it!
Just got it and think I made a mistake
Just purchased the sedan with the navigation and V6. Power is wonderful, the seats hurt after only 200 miles of driving. Maybe I will get used to them. Overall interior size of car is wonderful but the trunk is a little small in relation to the car. Beware - you can feel the engine move from 3 cylinders, to 4 then 6. Test drive to make sure you can live with this First impressions are overall good. But at $30k, I could have purchased a much more involved car (Audi, BMW,), this rides like a Buick.
So far so Good
I've always owned Hondas from the days of the hatch back civic to now this 08 accord.I am pleased with everything so far. My car is taffeta white and i wish there was another interior color option other than ivory! other than that the accord looks good drives good and has met and exceeded my expectations so far!
