2002 Honda Accord SE 2dr Coupe (2.3L 4cyl 4A)

Had the Accord SE 2door 13 months. Attracted by the exterior looks, promise of GREAT mileage, Honda quality and the best lease going. Been dissappointed for 13 months. Mileage is NOT as promised, fabric is CHEAP and rubbing thin on armrest areas, light put out by headlights is so low that I use the high beams, loose screws found everywhere, constant rattle in the dash, visor mirror covers rattle when visors lowered, heater VERY slow A/C is worse, took MONTHS to coordinate rear view mirror with vertical power seat settings and "tilt" steering wheel to stop my right leg from falling asleep after 30 minutes. The dealer is less than responsive.

CHEAP OVER RATED trash! Leased new in '02......including MANY rattles, gas mileage has YET to live up to promise, screws lying loose in trunk, painted plastic bumper covers aging faster than painted metal, sunroof doesn't open all the way, fabric is wearing thin on armrests, heat/ac unit cannot be turned off, headlights put out little light at night, accelerator pedal sticks when car is first started, etc, etc. Dealer UNRESPONSIVE!

I LOVE MY CAR!!!

2002 Honda Accord EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

I've had my EX V6 for about a month, and I absolutely love it. I also looked at the Camry Solara, and although the Solara feels roomier in the rear, it doesn't come standard with the same features as the EX V6. In the Honda, the interior was better, as well as the responsiveness you don't hear as much road noise. The only thing I DON'T like about the car is that it doesn't come in a manual transmission. Highly recommended.

Had to replace the transmission at 90,000 miles and sometimes it doesn't want to start.

Test drove this car along with the American/German/Korean competition, there was no comparison. The Accord was a loud overpriced tin box. The exterior sheetmetal was'nt much thicker than a soda can with one piece flimsy plastic door handles and a cheap/chintzy interior. The car rode rough and had way too much road/wind noise. Save your 22 Gs and buy a Passat instead!
