I traded an '05 Yukon SLT for this farce of a fuel saver when the Crosstour first came out. I thought with gas prices rising, it would be a good move. NOT~This car gets worse mileage (both in city and hwy) than either of my 2 prior Yukies. Honda kept passing the mileage off as the car "needing to be broken in"...seriously? How much breaking in? I have had this car for almost 3 years (46K mi) and it is worse now than before. The car still looks great and the interior has held up nicely, except for the plastic pieces, not built to last. So far, I've replaced brakes, tires, lights, etc.

A 2010 models paint already looks 20 years old. Clear coat is cloudy, roof and hood, flaking, whole car looks aged well beyond it's years. Last estimate to repaint, was over $10,000. Sit's next my other car 5 years older, paint is as if new! Dealer tells us so sorry. Not their problem. It's an embarassement in the driveway.

Crosstour Exploding Sunroofs

This performs and feels well. Unfortunately, my Honda Crosstour along with others online have had a problem with spontaneously exploding sunroofs. In my situation, American Honda and Gillman Honda had no intention of analyzing the situation with concern and they seem to be experts at ping ponging customers back and forth.

Guess it was meant to be. Dealer had one certified Crosstour. My favorite color, no nav., leather and some owner-purchased extras. It rides great and performance is very adequate. Interior is as nice as 2 Acuras I owned. Only "hitch" is the split rear view. I'm pretty anal but I think it will be fine. Guess I had a habit of looking at passengers in car behind me at lights. The "bar" mostly blocks this now. WATCH THE HATCH!! It is quite high. I had to install some cushioned padding on back of garage door as the hatch hits one of the bracing members. I like the car and I am getting some nice comments as well. It's practical and plush.
