F-150 Amazing!

The ride and daily useability of this truck including family school dropoff is just outstanding. I don't see myself ever returning to a FORD passenger vehicle product. The truck seats are perfect. The straight line tracking and steering response is way above what I expected. Boat hauling has been much easier and MPG have averaged 17.9 combined, after 14k miles. The high horsepower 6 cylinder has excellent turbo thrust when needed. Around town, no lag noticeable. FORD has done a super job with this truck making it work and home beneficial.

F-150 3 liter "baby diesel" as a tow vehicle

(NOTE: I was not able to find the 3.0 Liter Power Stroke diesel in the model choices? but that is the vehicle I'm reviewing). We live on a boat powered by a big single diesel tractor engine and so we have both come to respect the durability and torque of diesel engines and wanted the same for our truck we planned to buy to pull a 7000 lbs Airstream trailer. We didn't want noise and we did want comfort and "good" fuel mileage. We ended up with a 2019 Ford F-150 with a 3 liter Power-Stroke diesel rated to tow about 10,000 lbs. On our test drive we both noted that the truck interior noise was less than the noise in our Prius we would trade in! So now that we are approaching 5000 miles (most of it towing the trailer - including over several significant mountains passes) what we have learned: 1) "Real world" MPG: towing 15 - 16 mpg, city 20 ish mpg, and highway 29 - 30 mpg which are all numbers that exceeded our expectations! 2) towing - the truck tows the trailer with ease. The "tow mode" does a great job of determining which of the 10 speeds is best for down hill grades and once the driver establishes a target speed the truck will maintain it without further input. We both are very comfortable backing trailers but have found the self backing function to be a really cool accessory that works well and so we have come to prefer it over manual control. We have never seen any indication that the engine or transmission were over heating while towing despite going up long passes at 60 mph.Having the computer control the trailer brakes makes braking feel the same with and without the trailer attached. 3) Comfort: we have both come to appreciate that heated and cooled seats, dual comfort zones and auto setting of seat/mirror/and pedal positions as we have very different driving preferences. Our moderately tall grandson appreciates that good legroom in the back seat. We all appreciate the 400 Watt 120 V inverter as well as lots of USB and 12V charging ports. The only thing I wish was included in the trailer package was extendable mirrors otherwise the vehicle has exceeded our expectations.

MPG is off.. a lot! 2.7L

I'm going to keep this simple. I like my truck BUT for what I paid I should love it. Transmission shifts hard into reverse especially when cold. My sister's civic has a nicer radio and it was half the price. My biggest gripe is gas milage. I get 21 on highway on a great day with wind at my back going downhill. I average 19.5 otherwise. Sticker says 24.. Ha! Jokes on me.

2200 miles on f150 and shifting problems are terrible and have been since I purchased it. Service mgr says its normal and get use to it. Trouble every day I drive it. 10 speed transmission is awful.

Selected the F-150 Lariat over the RAM 1500 Larimie. I am happy I did. Very nice fit and finish. I like the dashboard stitching. Brakes very well for a truck that size, very smooth transmission. Exterior design turns heads. Very happy thus far.
