Used 2002 Ford F-150 SuperCab Consumer Reviews
LONG TIME FORD BUYER
SOME PROBLEMS W/ FORD TRUCKS. HAVE BEEN BUYING FORD TRUCKS SINCE 1974. THE AC TENDS TO HAVE PROBLEMS EARLY IN THE LIFE OF THE TRUCK.hAS HAPPENED ON THE LAST 4 TRUCKS. ALSO PROBLEMS W/ THE TRANSMISSION ON THE LAST 2 TRUCKS.
I tried to trade in....and couldn't
We decided that 3.00/gallon gas was the limit and went to trade our F150 in. Ended up getting a used car for commuting, and keeping the truck. This is the absolute king of family vehicles. It saved our trip to Florida, while pulling a 27' camper with no strain. Gas mileage for a 4x4 with a 5.4 Triton is good, if you don't get carried away with its power and speed. Ride comfort and room are unparalleled, and reliability is a 'given' with Fords. Even with gas prices going out of control, we won't part with our Lariat! I'm shooting for 200,000+ miles before that thought comes around again.

Found on road dead
had truck for 3 months. was in shop almost every 3 weeks. For a new truck, this is unacceptable by any measure. Ford says does live up to all of the accronyms. turned truck back in and bought a toyota. Toyota builds a FAR superior Truck in quality. I'd pay more for the quality and sacrafice the options any day
Best I've owned
This is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. Very few minor defects are far outweighed by the overall integrity of the truck. I do not like rattles and squeaks and this truck has not one, inside or outside. The overall finish of the interior is excellent well designed, simple, stylish, and to the point.
Last One
Absoulutely the worst truck I've owned, two transmissions and one transfer case. Interior seats are not comfortable. Sliding cupholder broke the week I bought it. I've had nothing but trouble. Even the blinkers work only when they want to. I've owned Chevys and Dodges and this is the worst. I've only owned it for a little over two years. I can only imagine what I would have done if it was new.
