Excellence at its finest
I opted for an Edge after owning 2 Escapes. While I loved both Escapes, both had Similar engine problems that I wasn’t willing to tempt fate with a third time. The Explorer was larger than I needed, so I started looking at the Edge. My first test drive, I fell in love! The perfect size between the slightly smaller Escape and the slightly too big Explorer! The one I chose is a SEL, so I have the mytouch feature, power/heated seats, panoramic sunroof, and back up camera. In the time I’ve had it, I’ve experienced an issue in the shifter where I either can’t get into park, or if I get into park, I can’t get back out. It ended up being approximately a $500 fix, however beyond that, I have had zero complaints with this vehicle. Drives well with excellent Umpf as I call it! Smooth turns, takes them well at high speeds! Every feature I paid for was worth the cost! I’m fairly certain the Edge will be my life long vehicle!

We love the space and ride in our 2013 Edge. We bought it used in 2015. During our 3rd year of ownership (5th yr for vehicle) we had problems with heating system and PTU. Heat was not supplied to passenger side, but was resolved by re-flashing the HVAC computer module. PTU occured with only 6 days remaining on the Power Train warranty, and dealer/mfgr covered the repairs. If not for warranty coverage and dealer support (Selinsgrove Ford), this rating would be less than 4 stars. UPDATE: Traded this vehicle in Spring 2020... for another Ford Edge!

Excellent for the Value
This is one of the best SUVs I have ever owned. I have had it for about 10 months now- no complaints! I enjoy driving it! Many complain about the Ford MY Touch/SYNC - it is cumbersome at first (so was the IPhone for me) but once I got the hang of it works well! I am very pleased and I will get another one in 2016!

2013 Ford Edge sel w/appearance package
The truck has nice styling. The smoked lights and 20 inch black wheels really go well with the deep blue impact metallic paint. The interior is where it lacks. Cramped up front for driver if your big like myself.(6'3"tall 285lbs) back seat is also hard to get in and out of. My son who sits in the back most of the time is only 5Â7Â and skinny. This is a common problem with all ford trucks. We have an Expedition and its a pain in the you know what to get in and out the back seat. The new version of the Ford My Sync works great. The older one stunk. I think it has too many colors going on in side that just donÂt match the truck. Like two different silvers, and a bronze(ish) color center console. The stitching on the seats should match something but it doesnÂt. I do like the two tone leather and suede. I also like the rear seats being able to recline back., oh and the vista roof which is a must have. Performance wise its kind of slow for a truck pushing close to 290HP. It does brake well and the handling is pretty nice for an SUV. So for now itÂs a pretty nice truck. Again the interior needs to match how detailed the outside is for this to be a really good suv.
