Don't Buy This Car

2011 Ford Edge SEL 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 6A)

I purchased my car used 14 months ago from a local dealer with 67,000 miles on it. 8 months in, I had to replace the driver's side front arm assembly. Yesterday, while returning from a trip, the car blew the head gasket causing coolant to leak into the oil. Result: new engine. The car only has 78,913 miles on it. Thanking God we bought a warranty on it, but doesn't change the fact that I had to rent a vehicle to get home and have to travel 3 hours away to pick up my car when it's done. I have owned several Ford vehicles in the past and this has been the worst vehicle I have ever owned. Time to switch back to a Toyota.

Like Ford's of old

2011 Ford Edge Limited 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 6A)

Years ago we owned a Ford Crown Victoria. Great road car. Solid feel about it. Our new Edge has those same qualities but with all the modern conveniences. Love the My Touch system, the blind spot side mirrors, and the great seats. Even my wife, who does not like leather, loves the heated front seats. So glad we went for the Limited with the memory features. My wife is 11 inches shorter than me but the memory makes finding our driving positions easy. We have owned many new cars and this one is one of the best, if not the best, ever.

Very Happy Thus Far

I've purchased Toyotas in the past 15 years and decided to try the Ford Edge. I am very happy with my purchase thus far. Purchased the FWD Limited with the 302A package. The vehicle provides many amenities that you can't get in a Toyota. Build quality seems great. I encourage you to test drive one. If you opt to purchase one, DO NOT purchase the cargo cover. It's laughable (poorly designed).

I just purchased my 2011 Ford Edge Sport AWD in Tuxedo Black! I love this SUV and its so sweet! All of the features are awesome and somewhat overwhelming, but really cool. The SUV handles well and is smooth on pretty much all surfaces. I live in Michigan and the roads are not that good. I would recommend that everyone test drive a Ford. I did and I bought one!
