This make's my 2nd Nissan Truck. Purchased New 7/3/13, so far so good. A very nice Truck, with lot's of power. So far I get 20.6MPG Averaged, in mixed driveing, which is about the same that I was getting with a '93 Nissan KC 4 cylinder AT 2WD that I had purchased New 20 year's before. No problem's after 2 year's as only vehicle. I looked at and drove them all. Came down to Tacoma, Siverado, But Nissan Frontier came out on top,, with Most Truck for the Money. UPDATE @ 3 Years: So far so good with no problem's. One advice that I can give, is to not put these Truck's in Mud, Water, or Rough Off Roading. I don't think these Truck's will stand up to that type of abuse. So Far I'm Pleased with this 2013 SVV6 KC AT 2WD Nissan Truck. UpDate 1/8/17: So far so good. It's the Best Truck so far, that I've ever owned. Just got a fillup and got 21mpg mixed driveing. Plenty of power to pull my utility trailer. Take's curve's better than the '93 Nissan Truck that I had previously. Truck is so Tight,, that it took about 8K Mile's to start limbering up. So Far no problem's, and so far, it is a very good truck for the money. If you get one, Stay out of the Mud, Water and any Rough Off Roading like some Dumb Punk's do that abuse their Truck's and don't care if their Truck will last and be dependable. UpDate @ 4 Years 7/9/17: So Far So Good. Still the Best Truck so far that I've ever owned. Am Averageing 20.4 MPG. Steering was very tight in the beginning,, but limbering up nicely at almost 10 K Mile's. Much better to be too tight than too loose. Get you one now,, before this 2nd Generation Frontier is upgraded with a New Style Model, and enjoy saveing Money. When the New Style Model come's out,, they'll have to pay for the New Style Cost's,, and they will cost you more. Don't Put it in the Mud, Water, and Severe Offroading, Like Some Dumb Punk's do, if You Want Your Truck to Last and Be Dependable. Remember this; Marketing show's Severe Activitie's,, which a Pickup Truck is not intended for. Remember those Commercial's showing Truck's Pulling Tree Stump's Out Of The Ground. Don't be a Dumbo; A Big 4 Wheel Drive Tractor can't even do that without first haveing to dig the Stump out with a Backhoe or Pushed over with a Bull Dozer before the Tree is Cut Off. These are not Heavy Duty Truck's,, but if used according to the Owner's Manual, ie Transporting People, Cargo, and Pulling a Trailer within the Maximum Tow Rateing,, then I think that these Truck's will last a long time. If you want the Paint to stay Nice and Shiney, use Meguiar's #6 Mirror Glaze Professional Cleaner/Polish/Wax Regularly. Save Money and Get You One before the New Style Model come's out. **UpDate @ 4.5 years** 1/12/18 So far so good. No problem's. Motor run's smooth. Average MPG is 20.4 mpg. Still on original battery. So far no oil consumption. Engine seem's to like midgrade gas better than Regular Grade. My advice is keep them out of the Mud and Water. If you want Mud and Water get a Jeep or a Tractor. Use the Nissan Truck's for their intended Purpose, Transportation, Hauling Cargo, and Pulling a Trailer within their Rated Range, if you want them to last. Don't get suckered into Rock Climbing and other OffRoad activitie's that will do your truck in, and don't buy one that has been abused by Mud, Water, Rock Climbing and Other OffRoad Activitie's cause you'll be buying a messed up Nissan Truck. A Nissan Truck is the Least Expensive Truck that's available New,, and there are Many Punk's out there that buy them to Abuse them because they are the Least Expensive New Truck, then they get rid of them after the Warranty Run's Out. Don't buy a Punk Driven Truck of any Brand.

***UpDate*** 11/2/20 Bought this Truck Brand New 7/3/13. So far so good. Almost 16K Mile's and No problem's so far. Everything is still Tight, Transmission Shift's Good, & Engine nice and Quiet. I've alway's used a Geniune Nissan Oil Filter and with these Truck's that's what I recommend, as well as changing the oil at the recommended interval even if useing Full Synthetic Oil. If you are looking at a used one, if the engine is knocking or Rattleing,, they probably didn't use a Nissan Oil Filter and/or it was Abused by a Younger Driver. Alway's stay within the Load and Tow Weight Maximum's as well as the Maximum Frontal Area and You should be ok. Take it out of OverDrive if Transmission is Hunting for Gear's. Get a Scangauge II to monitor the Auto Transmission Fluid Temperature so that you'll get an accurate Fluid Level Check @ 149F Degree's useing the Hot Range on the Dip Stick. If not abused these truck's last a long long time,, so put some cheap Neoprene seat cover's on to help the seat material last as long as possible. 2019 was the last year for the 4 Liter 5 spd at or 6 spd mt. 2020 went to 9 spd at with the 3.8 Liter. ***UpDate*** 8/30/19 Bought this Truck New 7/3/13. So far so good. A little over 14 K mile's, Motor is running good, smooth, and quiet, Auto Transmission no problem so far, Average MPG 20.4 . The rear axle ratio is 2.937 so that explain's why the KC 2wd get much better mileage than the Crew Cab's and 4X4's. Those 4X4 Guy's Whine all the time about their MPG and They don't have No Clue. It's the Rear Axle Ratio Dumb Ass's. :) IMO These are Light Duty Truck's, and not meant for Mud, Water, Rock Climbing and other Punk Wheeling Abuse, if YOU want them to last. If You want Mud, Water, Rock's, and Punk Wheeling ~ Get a Jeep, 4 Wheeler, or Tractor. :) I broke mine in following Nissan's Advice in the Owner's Manual and so far doesn't use any Oil. I'm really glad that I got the KC for the Full Length 6 Ft Bed, that is more important to me than Hauling Free Loader's. :) I had a 1993 Nissan Hardbody KC 4 cyl AT 2wd before, that I also bought New and drove it for 20 year's prior to this 2013. Time will tell if the Frontier is as good as the Hardbody, but the Frontier has a lot more power and I needed more pulling power for Utility Trailer's. These are the Cheapest New Pickup's, and Many Punk's buy them to Abuse them and then Trade them in at the end of the Warranty. So BeWare & don't buy a Punk Driven Truck of Any Brand. The 3rd Generation is coming soon, so get a New 2nd Generation Frontier before the New Model come's out. When the 3rd Generation Frontier hit's the Dealer's,, There will be a Stampede to Snatch Up the Remaining New 2nd Generation Frontier's. Many will be buying them even if they don't need a Pickup. ***Update 5/30/22*** With almost 17K Mile's so far so good. No Problem's so far. I try to do all the Preventative Maintenance on time as Advised in the Maintenance Manual. I don't think these Truck's will stand up to Abuse as so many get them for. Many also don't do the Preventative Maintenance @ the Prescribed Interval's, Have Trouble's and Wonder Why. Don't wait till 100K Mile's and Start thinking about doing the Preventative Maintenance; It's got to be done on time from the Get Go is my advice. **Update 11/11/23** Mileage 19723 So Far So Good, but only 10 year's old. Won't know Till 20 or 30 year's old. Engine is Still Quiet, No Oil Usage, Transmission Shift's Smooth, Ride's Smooth, Cabin is Quiet, No Vibration's, Still Averageing a little over 20 mpg with the 2.937 Rear Axle Ratio. So Far So Good.. I've Read where one person posted he reached 400K on his '15 Gen2 Frontier V6 with the VQ40DE Engine, So That's encouraging the Engine Can Last if Taken Care of.. Hope This Review Help's You.
