I haven't pulled the string yet, as I want to see about a late-season rebate, but for information purposes, I have had three offers at invoice price on the 2008 prht grand touring with premium, suspension, and appearance packages. This is in NY. This Fall could be the best buying opportunity possible.

I read in Car & Driver that Mazda is coming out with a new Mazdaspeed MX-5 Miata. I hope so! TTYL

Mazda is working on a Mazdaspeed version the Miata for 2008. Internet sources say the engine will the same 2.3 turbo four in the Mazdaspeed3, although slightly detuned because of packaging issues requiring a smalled radiator and intercooler. Do a google search and you'll find more information. No idea if it will be offered with the PRHT.

If you are looking for a true sport car, wait for MazdaSpeed or next generation S2000 in 2008. I believe that Mazda is great, if you install proper spring rate and stabilized bars, but then it will be getting ridiculously expensive and it will not make much sense. S2000 on the other hand is very capable, but at almost 7 years running, it desperately need modern strengthening and new braking technologies. ... Read More
