2006 Mazda Mazda5 Sport 4dr Minivan (2.3L 4cyl 5M)
By adding the price and the projected cost of ownership the Mazda5 came out #5 for the lowest cost of ownership behind Kia Spectra, Nissan Versa, Hyundai Accent and Pontiac G3. The Mazda5 is a much better vehicle and has many more standard features than any of the above similarly priced vehicles. It's also one of the cheapest cars to insure. According to Consumer Reports the Mazda5 is the most overlooked vehicle in the industry. There's nothing else like it. Not even Kia Rondo can compare to it.
Mine is stick shift. The handling is so amazing. I also have a 6 CD player and a cassette player. Who has a tape player nowadays?
All wheel drive should've been offered. Because I have a child I wish a second row for three was offered and the third row needs more foot space under the second row seats.
There is something on the market better then this, in fact has been since 95'. People do your homework Honda Odyssey from 95' to 98' has built a better and worth then this rebadged Ford. It is to bad Honda has changed to the bigger heavier 6 cyl. Funny how people don't realize Honda has been ahead of American car products for decades. Pay attention there are still these year Hondas selling for thousands w/ 150 + miles, because they are far superior then anything on the road even now. 25+ mpg ALL THE TIME, even better on long trips.
