Awesome!
I purchased a 92 s10 Blazer Tahoe, for my sons 15th b-day and it had 226,223 miles on it. Ran great surprisingly until an episode with the woods with a broken motor mount and the transmission kept on popping into neutral and eventually blew it up. But we dropped another 4.3 in it and this time we added some major modifications performance wise. But definitely dependable and he absolutely loves it!
30-years-old and still like new!
I've been driving my 30-year-old Chevy s10 Blazer Tahoe all of these years. It still runs and looks new. It gets about 18mpg all of the time no matter how I drive it. The only thing that has been replaced, other than the obvious brake pads, oil etc, was the A/C unit which cost about $900 20 years ago. I take good care of it seeing that it goes to the mechanic each spring for a check up. Rarely does anything need to be replaced. Just had the brake pads changed out for new ones in August 2021. I have the oil changed every 3k miles. That old truck has been a real blessing and has been good to me. My spouse has purchased three new vehicles in all of those years and each time, my and my old truck had to go rescue spouse and the new vehicle at one time or another. I use it about 4 times a week now that I am retired. That old truck has seen a lot in 30 years. I use to use it when needed while I was a professional mapper/land surveyor, so it has visited the woods often and hauled a lot of equipment. Now, it just hauls chicken feed and hales of bay. I paid $5k for it long ago and it has paid for itself many times over. Why the insurance premiums are so high for it, not matter which insurance company it get a quote from, is so high is beyond me. Twenty years ago the insurance was $400 a year, now it is $4k a year. Why? Insurance is a scam, like all other major corporations and Big Pharma, Big this and Big that. Hopefully, that will soon be over.

Good when taken care of!
I purchased this truck for $1000. It gave me very little trouble. (uv joints, some sensors) I recently had to pull the engine when it reached 229,814 miles. Yes that's the correct mileage. I went with a 1999-2000 model engine because they are factory with 240hp and that's great for when I pull my boat or my tools. This is a very well rounded truck/SUV. GM got this right so if you are looking for a good vehicle this is one of them!
Keeps going
Got my S-10 almost 11 yrs ago.....Planned on replacing it long ago, but it has'nt stopped running yet and has had very few major repairs (minus a couple of brake repairs and a water pump) A few minor cosmetic problems but all in all a suprisingly solid car for me considering my modest service schedule for it.
