The Corvette Convertible offers a level of technology, performance, style and substance that extends far beyond its price tag. While some technofiles might blab for hours about the Corvette's engine datasheet shortcomings, such as a lack of multiple valves and varible valve timing, on the road, where it counts, the LS1 shows that even OHV engines benefit from high tech in the form of never-ending power, 33mpg range and bullet-proof quality.
Good looks on the outside. The best gauge cluster on the market inside. Although seats and interior fit disappointing.

i had this car as an 02 since 0ct 2001,since than it had close to 4000km on it ,everything seems okay (I had a 97
before),much had improve frm 1997 especially on the active handling options. However,Chevy should look at the big picture here, interior design is
okay compare to what chevy's been doning, but far far apart frm its competetors, maybe use less plastic looking material or even carbon fibre.
Other than that, heated seats or steering wheel radio control would help.

My new C5 Corvette is the best car I've ever owned. The only complaints are that the stock exhaust is too quiet for a any hi-performance sports car. Also, the stock 6-speed is very sloppy, as if it was designed for non=drivers who would not know the difference. GM could do a LOT better in these two areas. The interior also has some cheap bits. But these are minor complaints. Overall, the car is a gas and I smile really big every time I drive it!

I retired from working for the same company after 31 years. I wanted a sports car and the corvette was the best value and had the right image for me. Its been a surprise to drive and own, very fast and confortable, great gas milage. Except for those rough Louisiana roads, its a pleasure to drive.
