The HPE1000 package adds $67,950 to the price of the 2014 Corvette and includes twin superchargers, an air-to-air intercooler, forged aluminum pistons, forged steel crankshaft and connecting rods, high-flow cylinder heads and a stainless-steel exhaust system.
Customers also can order such extra-cost options as Hennessey's CarbonAero body kit and monoblock alloy wheels, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, Penske adjustable shocks and Brembo brakes with carbon-ceramic rotors.
Hennessey offers supercharged upgrades for the C7 Corvette in lesser stages of tune, including the HPE600 ($12,495), the HPE700 ($18,450) and the HPE800 ($54,950). Later in the year, a normally aspirated HPE500 also will be available.
