I read that Acura is discontinuing their TSX line. Since I'm looking for a wagon, the ILX won't do. If what I read is true, what happens to the value of a car in its last production year? In my experience, you CANNOT compare Audi & BMW when it comes to maintenance & repairs. I'm not saying BMWs are perfect, they've had problems with the N54 Twin Turbo I've heard a lot more anecdotal evidence that is BAD for BMW reliability in the last 5-7 years than I have for Audi. That being said, if you maintain either properly, you should have a fairly reliable car by any standard ... Read More

Have you driven the car extensively? Do you even like it? It may have been garaged a long time but maintenance could be quite expensive on such an old car - you'd obviously put a lot more miles on it. Your price with Tech sounds about right and is a far cry from what I encountered. Acura no longer says you have to use premium. They changed their wording in the owners manual around 2006. They now say 87 is minimum. For 2005 it states 91 octane premium required, lower octane may cause damage. The 2006 manual though says 91+ octane recommended however 87+ octane may be used with reduced performance. Sounds like a good price, even if it doesn't include destination fee. If it does include destination fee then I think that's the best price posted in this forum so far!
Couple questions for everyone here. I am about to purchase a new vehicle, it looks like the TSX 2006 without NAVI is what I will be going with. I have been calling around to dealers and what not and so far and a price I am very willing to move on is 24,730. What does anyone think. I know it is below invoice and I have not had much luck getting ... Read More

Is that law still in effect. When we have gone to pick-up our new cars the dealer has taken off the sticker price and included in the paperwork. I like it that way- not having to get the glue from the sticker off the window. You can get options- mud guards, pin-stripes, all kind of spoilers and whole bunch of other add-ons. I have not seen the car I am getting ... Read More
We did some research online and registered this car with Acura. It probably is what it is since TSX does not really have any option. But as I learned from carbuyingtips.com and lemonlaw.com, only the buyers can take the sticker off. What this particular dealership is doing is against the law. We will probably go there again and take some pictures of the car when it is still in the lot. ... Read More
I got a 2006 tsx from Acura of Orange Park Jacksonville for 28,250.00 out the door. I don't know if you live close by. I drove from Orlando to get the car. No local dealer wanted to match the price.
Can any one suggest me low cost cable compatible with all mp3 players to connect mp3 player to acura's music system
We picked up our 2006 TSX (AT with Nav and protection package) last Sunday from Pleasanton Acura. Price was 27700 + TTL. Sales person was excellent. No hassel price.

I bought a 2006 Silver/Ebony TSC AT/Non-Navi yesterday from Columbia Acura. The car had 1.1 miles on it when I test drove it and 9 miles when we filled out the paperwork!! I called the salesman on my lunch hour and told him that I thought $100 was more than fair for a doc fee and he got the OK. He said that they just raised their fee in July from ... Read More
You must be lucky, but I found McGrath Acura of Westmont very poor at service. I tried calling them 9 times to get a quote, nobody responded till now with any quote and also it is really hard to talk with the same person you talked earlier. I am not going to call them agian.
Just purchased brand new charcoal pearl with black leather for $25,975.33 before TTL. I bought from McGrath Acura of Westmont (near Chicago) and would highly recommend it. I talked to 15 dealers, mostly in Chicago with a few in the Bay Area and McGrath Acura of Westmont was the best price and no B/S. To get to this price I relied heavily on carbuyingtips.com, and used all the internet services to ... Read More
Hi cruby. As usual, Acura is not currently providing any cash incentives on the TSX. I believe that the dealer invoice price for a 2006 Acura TSX with navigation and an automatic transmission is currently around $27,927. You were quoted a price that is around $2,000 over this. That sounds a little on the high side to me. You are in a part of the country where there is no shortage ... Read More
I own both of these cars. I've had an automatic 2006 TSX for about 7 months. I never test drove the BMW when I bought the TSX. We seriously considered 5 vehicles this time; the IS 250 AWD, the Audi A3, the 325i, the RDX(mpg ruled it out), and a loaded Honda Accord v6. I picked up a new automatic 06 325i a few weeks ago. Both the TSX and BMW ... Read More
