Xc-90 a Legend?

We bought our T-5 Xc90 through the overseas delivery program. Things went well, right up to about a month before we left to get it and spend a two week vacation driving through Denmark and Sweden. Enter - COVID-19. We eventually had it shipped to our dealer which is over an hour away - think about that when you are ordering a car. We got it June 20th 2020, after ordering it in July 2019 involving a situation that is complicated and too long to explain. That said, here's our experience with the car: We took it for a road trip (~4600 miles) in August and One thing I noticed is, while it is a true luxury car at normal speeds of 25 - 60 mph, on the highway at speeds of 65 - 50, the road noise was excessive and disappointing. Our GPS guidance was quite sketchy and it never took us where we wanted to go, while it got us there, it was difficult to get it to take us how we wanted to go. We did take it off road and it performed well. (our road trip was to Glacier Nat. Park and The Tetons. We deliberately got the base T-5 engine so we could avoid using premium gas which worked out great, it runs great and the difference we found was only about 1 or 2 mpg, not hardly worth the extra expense. I previously had a Chrysler Pacifica with third row seating and it was easy to get in and out of the third row, but unfortunately the Volvo was not so much. I am taking it in to the dealer tomorrow (1hr 20 min one way) to get the button pad on the right side steering wheel fixed as it only partially works, I hope they can fix it so I don't have to come back, but I doubt it. The dealership lied to us when we ordered the car, and my experience with their service department when I took it in for the yearly warranty check up left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would say I like the car, it drives nicely and it has a lot of pep for the small standard engine. I have had 9 cars in my life from cars, pickups, vans, and corvettes, so I have some experience with new cars as I've ordered 4 from the factory and bought the others off the lots. I do believe you need to think hard about the dealership you buy from and the distance you are from it. Update ; Took it into the dealership for its 20,000 mile servicing (actual miles - 13,000 miles), the check engine light had come on and they diagnosed as O2 sensor bad, So, I had to set up another appointment (they have a 6 week backlog on service. They said they would need it for 1 ~ 2 days, which cripples me, but they offered a loaner, I told them it should only take about an hour to change out the sensor, but they say they go by what the tech had recommended (explains partially why they are 6 week backlog) So that means another 3 hours on the road for simple service plus my time spent. I am now pondering whether to trade it in on a Lexus or Audi as the dealerships are so much closer to home. If a sensor goes out at 13,000 miles, what else is going to fail prematurely? For now, it's still under warranty.

Great SUV, no complaints other than there is some slight road noise. The screen controlling functionality is easy to use. This SUV is fun to drive and rides very well.

We owned a 2017 XC90 but it was totaled. The vehicle protected us so incredibly well that we purchased another XC90. The SUV is great value for the money, stylish, well equipped, great ride, and super versatile.
