Used 2004 Volvo XC90 Consumer Reviews
Extended Warrenty saves the day
This car is in the shop about once a month. Luckily we bought the extended service warranty as the build quality is on par with some of the first generation Korean models. Some the failures are real safety concerns. I guess the positive if the parts do fail and result in accident you know you will be safe.
OOPS
Good long distance runner, very good front seats. optional 18 tires(MXV) POOR in snow and worn out in 18K mi. T6 engine needs a five spd., Four spd auto is a mis-match. Very conveient rear hatch design. Needs a larger fuel tank. Great brakes. Love the styling, outside shape. Overall for the money, keep looking.

my car
looks great, engine too loud and car is falling apart. It is like a good looking person without a personality. My other car is a Lexus es 300 and it has it all.
XC90 Is A Wonder Car
Driving the XC90 is like riding in a Limo but being able to control it. There is very little that this car cannot do. Long distance driving is a breeze. It is big without being too big. Handels well in city traffic and has no worries on interstate traffic. Its pick-up is quick and even and never seems to struggle with a pay-load. The extra features that can be ordered are a real plus. Being able to kennel the dogs in the back behind the gate is the safest way to transport them. They cannot get underfoot and don't distract me while driving. It has been a pleasure to dirve this car for the past four months.
Awesome and safe suv
I love my Volvo ... and I love even more that its an SUV. Safe, quiet and sleek. Its the BEST!
