Waiting on warranty evaluation
Bought a brand new Toyota Sequoia 24. Barely have 10,000 miles on it and it's already in the shop for over a week, and they're waiting for a warranty technician to evaluate all the issues that we are having. 1. Tow hitch cover came off. 2. Alert on dash that hybrid system is not working. 2x 3. Alert on dash there is an object on road while driving and vehicle will break check you when nothing is infront of you. 3x 4. AC makes a high pitch whistle sound. 5. Dash vibrates especially when a loud exhaust goes by. 6. Lane assist jerks vehicle back to lane, big safety concern especially in heavy traffic. 7. Rear shakes when brakes are applied

Happy with this for family car
We are a family of 5 with a boat and a dog and upgraded to the sequoia from a minivan. We needed the towing capacity and third row and feel the shortcomings of the rear storage are outweighed by the better gas mileage with hybrid engine. Despite what other reviews say, we find the third row to be spacious enough for our adult-sized kids. We love it and haven’t looked back.

First Toyota...biggest disappointment
Let me start off with, I've wanted to get into a Toyota for a long time. I needed 3 rows and something dependable. I was able to overlook the cramped 3rd row and lack of cargo space because the car was just beautiful and I just knew it would last as long as I wanted it to. The dealership I bought it from put 7,000 miles on it as the owner used it as a personal vehicle. He added a few extras which was nice. It didn't take long because issues started to occur. Between 10,000-25,000 miles we have had the following issues: -Liftgate not closing properly (took it in twice for that) -plastic knob on volume fell off -Replace hitch cover -All dash board lights can on including check engine and other safety lights (took in twice for that) -Squealing breaks -Passenger unlock and automatic window stopped working at the same time -The plastic piece on the side of the drivers seat broke almost in half -The knee extender on the drivers side stopped working Now I'm just waiting for the next thing to happen because, at this point, its inevitable. I did call Toyota and they offered an extended warranty. I agreed to that at first and then realized I didn't want to be at the shop once a month or more like I had been (no exaggeration). I am now going through the buyback process so we'll see how that goes.

Love Toyota
Toyota Is Amazing ! I have experience the road noise before with different Brands and It has Alot to do with the Tires ! Just like the One Review Said ! Get Different Tires ! Also Just Like the One Review Said ! If You Need More Storage ! Take Out the Third Row Seat ! When You Buy a House or Anything there Is Alway Adjustments to be made! Love the Power and Toyota Is a Solid Automobile! Doesin’t Shake or Fall Apart on Railroad Tracks or Off Road !

Huge disappointment
I was so excited to get the new 2024 Sequoia, had a 4-runner for 8 years (only bc a tree fell on it and totaled it or I would have had it longer), then 2012 Platinum Sequoia for 12 years. No problems with either one!!!! Then came the 2024, the excited lasted about 1 year…needless to say it is currently in the shop and I was put in a loaner mini-van due to Transmission failure. They initially said I put bad gas in it, but when I pulled up at the dealership and they heard the grinding and squealing I think they realized that was far from the problem. They have as many have mentioned about the Tundra issues….they have never seen this and have the Toyota Engineers working on it. No ETA on fix. So, will just say if you are thinking of trading in your 2012-2020 Toyota DON’T!!!! They are hard-core and will obviously continue to outlast the current new models!!!
