Used 2002 Toyota Sequoia Consumer Reviews
Great SUV!
Fun to drive, roomy, and easy to handle.
The Sequoia Stands Tall
Just recently purchased this Toyota and am very impressed. Almost silent in its operation. Handles bumps and bad roads (common in Texas) with aplomb. You need to read the owner's manual carefully because there are features and limitations on this vehicle that cannot be covered in dealer delivery speech. This car is built in Indiana. How come the other Big Three cannot build a vehicle of this quality? Gas mileage is pretty good for an SUV but you will get more mileage by using a synthetic oil (like Mobil 1) and a K&N air filter. Improves performance, mileage, and won't harm the vehicle in any way to my knowledge.

Big SUV without the stigma -
I believe this SUV is in a class of its own. I wanted the 6000 GVWR tax benefit for my business but did not want to drive a gas guzzling General Schwartzkov type SUV that would loose $15k off the lot and make me regret ever buying it. This is it! A Land Cruiser but less money. The interior is fantastic; it drives like a dream and in my opinion is luxurious. I traded in a 2002 Explorer with 10k miles and felt a difference of night and day between these vehicles. No regrets here.
Love it
I love this SUV, had 2 4runner limteds before....the only draw back with this SUV is no lockable glove-box, and no light under the hood...What gives toyota? Also would be nice with a nav system. otherwise, great ride, lots of room and great stearing....
A great fun driving SUV
I've had my Sequoia since November 2001. It is a pleasure to drive and I believe ahead of the pack fit and finish. It's a swee truck!
