NEW TRUCK! Drove it off the lot and it had 19 miles on it. When it had 6,000 miles, everything electrical went out. Power Window, Radio, Air Conditioning, etc. Brought it into the shop. Was initially told rodents ate the wiring. 8 days later when they actually checked it, they found out the wires were OK. So they started questioning me on what aftermarket stuff I installed. … I did not install anything. 3 days later I got the truck back and was told they don't know what happened but they reloaded all the software and everything is working. They did not figure out what caused it. And they told me it could happen again. Well, 2,000 miles later it happened again. And again it is in the shop to get fixed. 9,000 miles total and has been in the shop 2 times because of a faulty system. Waiting to find out what is going on. I switched from Ford to Dodge because Dodge new trucks were cheaper. Now I know why

2024 Ram 2500 Tradesman 4dr Crew Cab 4WD SB (6.4L 8cyl 8A)
8 months in, 13k miles, great truck. No issues at all. Able to achieve 18mpg on highway road trip otherwise 13-14 in town. Tows our 37 foot bumper pull travel trailer no issues. Love the looks, doesn't have "brackets" around the headlights like other brands.🙄 I would buy this truck again, quality is excellent.

2024 Ram 2500 Big Horn 4dr Crew Cab 4WD SB (6.4L 8cyl 8A)
Purchased a 2024 Ram 2500 in June 2023 and received it in January. Had a 2015, same truck. New truck is trying too hard to compete which has ruined the truck. First thing you’ll notice is the ‘bump resonance’ in the frame. Every time you hit a bump, the truck shakes it off. This is really annoying. I even dropped the tire pressure to 50psi to calm it down. The older truck not so, nice … and smooth. They upgraded the side view mirrors which are horrible. My older truck had infallible side view mirrors, totally confident driving. The new ones you struggle to figure out what’s happening next to your truck, try driving at night on a busy interstate. The vehicle function setup is as bad as our Audi. Too complex so as to compete with other vehicles. I miss just pressing a button for the heated steering wheel and seat. Now you have to peck thru the computer to find it. The radio is the same to the point you’ll have an accident trying to tune in a favorite station. I can’t image who the heck thinks their design is hip. For $75k what a way to ruin a good truck. After all we wanted a truck to haul and plow, not a dumbed down toy. Oh yeah, they eliminated the shifter for a knob, why?? Did it save $5?? You’ll be grabbing for the shifter constantly. Good luck Dodge.
