Great car!

2005 Toyota Prius 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

I've had my Prius for 19 months now. This is absolutely the best car I have ever driven. During the winter months, I average about 45 mpg. During the summer months, I average 50+ mpg. My last few tanks have averaged in the mid 50s. This car is full of positives: it is great to drive, very smooth, great pick-up power, smart-key entry, easy to operate/read display monitor, and best of all . . . I stop at gas stations more to get a bottle of pop than to get gasoline!

very comfortable, smooth and reliable. Good power and very good acceleration. Excellent gas mileage. Everything about this car is great except for two things- The shape of the car could have been better. The navigation is very very disappointing- very user UN-friendly compared to Honda Navigation annd Magellan Roadmate.

My 2005 Toyota Prius is the most fun to drive, best fuel economy (45-50 mpg) of real world driving that I have ever owned. The vehicle has a 1.5L gasoline engine along with 2 electric motors. This combination provides smooth rapid acceleration. The engines are quiet and vibration free. Controls are conveniently placed, most being duplicated with push buttons on the steering wheel. The interior is suprisingly large. With the rear seats folded down cargo hauling capability is like a small SUV. If you buy the Prius please carefully read the owners manual as the vehicle has some distinctive features different from other cars. The smart key sysem is very convenient. Test drive first.

McPherson strut bolts had to be retorqued at 23500. Original tires Goodyear integrity lasted only 22,500. Dealership treatment was EXCELLENT! Have another on order. Get your order in-You won't be disappointed! Car is very fast. Goes by everything including GAS Stations! Wonderful utility with hatchback.
