A great mid-sized vehicle

We love our Prius. We have navigation which makes it great to get around unfamiliar places. The mileage isn't what the EPA stated, but it is still great, and it's fun to watch what the charging system is doing. We also challenge ourselves to watch the mileage and improve the overall average. It feels good to know you're driving an environmental friendly vehicle, and it's so "normal" in its styling, and has lots of room to haul things home from Home Depot.

It is fun to drive and economical with plenty of space. It seems to get better mileage after a period of warm-up especially during cold or wet conditions so for short hops with long parking times, mileage suffers during the winter.

There are two types of people. Those that are amazed by my new car and those that act unimpressed. The latter are just plain jealous. The Prius has all the coolest techy gadgets, amazing gas mileage, drives great and is quite comfortable. No wonder it's the best car I've ever owned.

I love this car. I suggest upgrading to the navigation/blue tooth phone/ keyless entry option.

I bought this prius for my daughter who was going bananas over it,i did't think much about it since I had a 2002 Beetle Gls that I thought I was getting decent milage with it, until I spent a week driving the Prius. To put it in a nutshell, the dashboard took some getting used too,the gps had a few bugs in it that the dealership fixed but, the interior was spacious for a car this size, the sound system was great and the pickup wasn't too shabby. Also, the transistion from electric to gas engine was seamless and lastly, the display that monitors your gas milage almost challenged you to see what your best mpg was. I think I'm trading in the VW for a prius of my own. It's a blast to drive!!!
